Endrick arrives in Spain: what are Real Madrid’s plans for him?

The 17-year-old boy landed at Terminal 2 of Barajas Airport around 3:00 p. m. on a flight from Boston, which had a stopover in Lisbon, to begin his adventure with the LaLiga giants. The Brazilian stopped to pose with MARCA before getting into a taxi.

Dressed in a surprising Dolce Gabbana jacket, the young Brazilian star arrived in Madrid accompanied by her mother, while the rest of her family circle and her agent took the occasional flight from Sao Paulo.

Real Madrid have already made special plans for the teenager to move into his new club following his record-breaking transfer from the Brazilian club.

Endrick, who has just won his second Brasileirao with Palmeiras, took advantage of his post-season holidays to travel to the Spanish capital to meet all his teammates, the club’s facilities in Valdebebas and attend the next La Liga match against Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The young Brazilian will take advantage of his visit to get to know Ciudad Real Madrid first-hand, in what will soon become his usual training area from the summer onwards. He will be received by president Florentino Pérez, who will welcome him to his new club, and meet head coach Carlo Ancelotti for the first time.

He will be reunited with his new teammates, having already shared the dressing room with his compatriots Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo in the last foreign break.

“Vinicius and Rodrygo are my friends, we talk a lot in the field of education in Brazil,” he said.

“They asked me when I was going to Real Madrid and when I’m going to visit the city. I’m going there now in December and I think I can stay with them and I can watch a game of theirs.”

Los Blancos’ new signing may not be part of the squad until July, but he has already taken steps to acclimatise to life in Spain by flying in to meet his teammates.

Endrick won’t officially join the club until July 21, 2024, when he turns 18. As stipulated by FIFA regulations, players under the age of 18 are not allowed to register with foreign clubs.

He will then return to his home Brazil to continue his well-deserved vacation and, before returning to his studies with Palmeiras, the youngster will register with the Brazilian Olympic team in the pre-Olympic tournament in Venezuela, which will be played from January 20, 2024 to February 11, 2024.
