English media speculation on Sunday suggests that Manchester United are in a position to implement tactics with Eric Bailly.
The first few months of the new season have in fact summarized the move from Ivorian Bailly to Man United.
The 26-year-old, when given the opportunity to impress, looked largely solid, with a remarkable League Cup at Luton in September as the highlight.
Whenever it turns out that Bailly’s manchester race, however, is about to take off, a major mistake or a physical challenge (usually the latter) happens quickly.
Injuries have hit former Villarreal player again in 2020/21, the newest in a series of muscle disorders that left Bailly out for a month in late October.
However, even fit, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has tended to opt for features of choice for Bailly, with Victor Lindelof himself as the red Devils captain Harry Maguire’s first selection spouse.
With the addition of some other central defensive option that has already been touted as the number one goal for the board at Old Trafford next summer, Bailly’s playing time is unlikely to come soon.
As such, given that the African possesses an undeniable talent, questions will inevitably be asked about his long career at Manchester United.
And, as mentioned above, a possible solution, either in search of reinforcements through the club as a fullback and hoping to get Bailly ahead, would possibly be sought through Ed Woodward and his colleagues in the very near future.
According to a TeamTalk report, the Red Devils have known Villarreal star Pau Torres as a key target.
However, the obstacle in any possible movement for the Spaniard comes in the form of his intention of 60 million pounds.
In turn, it was cautioned that United could try to use Bailly, who moved to Manchester from Villarreal, as a compromise in an agreement for Torres.
However, Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are also known as touchdown issues for the disgraced Reds defender.
