And a big fan is Haaland, who took his own steps in Dortmund after joining RB Salzburg.
“Train at Borussia Dortmund and continue. Me at my house club, Bryne FK, when I was 15.
“You can’t compare that.”
SunSport recently reported how the Bundesliga had replaced its eligibility regulations on the age to let him play.
Previously, players were allowed to play in the German elite until the age of 16 and a half.
But such were the waves caused by Moukoko’s immediate number, that this number has now been reduced to just 16.
And Haaland admitted it will be difficult to maintain the skill on the ground.
He added: “But it’s hard when it’s so good.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen a 15-year-old boy that good.”
At the age of 12, tween Moukoko played for Dortmund’s under-17s and Germany’s under-16s.
He scored 90 staggering goals in 56 under-17 games before getting 34 in 20 this season for the under-19s, despite starting the season with 14.
Before his 16th birthday on November 20, Moukoko has been intermittently with Lucien Favre’s first team since January.
