ESPN names UGA duo among the 50 most sensitive players in school football

While media outlets such as 247Sports and College Football News updated their ranking of the 50 most sensitive school football players to eliminate the Big Ten, Pac-12, Mountain West and MAC that cancel out fall football, ESPN chose the players in its ranking.Tuesday that won’t play this fall.

The above had 3 Georgian players on their list and two Dawgs were also on the ESPN list.

Senior Richard LeCounte III 38th overall and general moment, ahead of Jacoby Stevens of LSU and Caden Sterns of Texas.

Convenient security, LeCounte is one of the main reasons Georgia boasted of having one of the country’s most productive defenses last season.Ranked moment in the convention for interceptions (four).

Entering his third full season as a starter, LeCounte has amassed 150 tackles in total, 5.5 tackled by defeat, five interceptions, six broken passes, five getaway recoveries and 4 forced loose balls in his first 3 years in Athens.Only two of the seasons, 2018 and 2019 were full-time.

Graduate Jamie Newman’s move came here at number 44 overall and ninth overall, the SEC marker on the list.

If his first 8 games at Wake Forest last season are an indication, Newman would possibly be a superstar for Georgia this year, as long as he wins the starting quarterback position. As a junior with the Demon Deacons, he threw 2,868 yards and 26 touchdowns, his production was hampered last month due to injuries to his two most sensitive receivers. He also rushed for 574 yards and six touchdowns.

Before moving to Georgia in January, Newman led the Demon Deacons to an 8-5 record in 2019, their first and only full-time opening.Finished 220 of 361 passes (60.9%) for 2,868 yards, 26 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He also did a lot of damage to the ground, accumulating 574 yards and six touchdowns on 180 carries and that includes catches. He woke up Forest’s thirteen games in 2019.

As a runner, Newman has been used in many designed racing games.Totaled 574 yards on the floor and only 164 of the yards on the floor were in push.Totaled 27 failed forced tackles this year and changed more than 40 first attempts.as a runner, ranking 10th among the quarter-finals at Power Five level.
