It’s time for back-to-back season as Mourinho and Roma embark on their crusade in the European final, having won the inaugural Europa Conference League last year. This made Mourinho the first manager to win all 3 UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.
Sevilla are no strangers to winning European trophies, having won the Europa League 4 times in the last nine seasons, with the possibility of making five in 10. Either way, Wednesday’s final will only be a notch in the belt of Sevilla, or maestro Mourinho.

For Roma, the Serie A crusade has been mediocre this season, failing to qualify for the Champions League for the fourth consecutive season. However, a win in Budapest would send them back to UEFA’s top sensible festival for the first time since 2018. 19. Typical of Mourinho’s form, who has conceded very few goals (37 in 37 league games) while struggling to score enough (48) to climb the rankings. Paulo Dybala leads with 11 goals in Serie A (plus 4 more in the Europa League, maximum next to Lorenzo Pellegrini’s 4) and former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has scored 8 (and one).

Speaking of disappointing domestic campaigns, Sevilla are in eleventh position in La Liga with one game to play (they can climb to seventh position on the last day). Three other coaches have guided Sevilla this season, with Julen Lopetegui lasting until early October before his successor, Jorge Sampaoli, was also sacked in March. Like Roma, Sevilla struggled to score goals (46) and avoid goals (52), which is irrelevant to them.

News of Liverpool’s transfers continues to intensify, as there is a key dominance where Jurgen Klopp and the Reds are strengthened.
[ VIDEO: Premier League research ]
With Darwin Nunez, the big call-up that came last summer to help restrain the influence of Sadio Mane’s departure, Liverpool need to raise another big call-up to midfield and reinforced an already ridiculously strong attack in January with the signing of Cody Gakpo.
The Reds were so close to quadrupling in 2021-22, so improving this team wouldn’t be easy, but after a shaky crusade in the Premier League so far, they want more depth, especially in midfield.
Since their existing owners are willing to make more investments, it will be attractive to see where they are headed in the next windows of movement.
[ TRANSFER NEWS: Chelsea | Tottenham | City of Man | Arsenal | United man]
Below, we summarize the most recent offers, reports and rumours and provide our research on Liverpool move news as Joe Prince-Wright (JPW), Nicholas Mendola (NM) and Andy Edwards (AE) will guide you through the hectic months ahead.
Bild says the Reds are turning to the Bundesliga to deal with their midfielder.
Jurgen Klopp will turn to Kouadio “Manu” Kone from Borussia Mönchengladbach this summer, as Liverpool reportedly told the player they would do so with Gladbach.
Kone, 22, has been linked with several major clubs, and a report on Manchester United’s interest was added in late March.
A ball progressor who reads the game very well, Kone would have a prize of more than $ millions. (NM)
Argentina’s La Nacion reports Liverpool have agreed a paid move with Brighton and a salary with Alexis Mac Allister, as a summer move could just be a midfield technique.
Mac Allister, 24, won the World Cup with Argentina this winter and is part of an impressive Brighton squad, paired with Moises Caicedo in a dynamic midfield.
The report claims that Mac Allister will charge Liverpool around $75 million, a massive payout but a small part of what Borussia Dortmund hope to get for the oft-mentioned target, Jude Bellingham.
Mac Allister would certainly give Liverpool a unit of play in the world, but a dramatic report later on Monday claims that Man City could try to jump to the front of the Mac Allister line in the event of an Ilkay Gundogan departure.
What is the solution for Mac Allister? (NEW MEXICO)
According to a report via the Mirror, Liverpool held talks last week with representatives of Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch. The parties reportedly reached an agreement on the terms of the contract for a summer move, and the prices for the move have yet to be agreed between the clubs. .
Gravenberch joined Bayern from Ajax last summer, but the 20-year-old is frustrated by the lack of time to play and would like to leave this summer. Also last week, Liverpool pulled out of the race for Jude Bellingham, with a pair of beginning midfielders being a big priority for Jurgen Klopp’s team. (EA)
After Liverpool reportedly resigned from Jude Bellingham due to the expected massive payout of over $160 million, it turns out that Jurgen Klopp and the Reds have a short list of other more feasible features. According to our partners in Germany at Sky Sport, Liverpool will have another five midfielders covered to reinforce their characteristics in the engine room.
According to the report, Ryan Gravenberch, Nicolo Barella, Matheus Nunes, Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo are the 4 central midfielders Liverpool need to point out this summer. Rice will have less than a year on his contract to make it feasible, but there would be a fierce festival to point to the West Ham captain, while Caicedo may be a very smart choice, however, he may be liked with Chelsea and Arsenal connected with the Ecuadorian in the past. Barella, Gravenberch and Nunes would be perhaps the cheapest features with the forged additions of the respective Italian, Dutch and Portuguese internationals, but it looks like Rice will be their first pick and their midfield can be built around them. (JPW)
Liverpool bet on Brighton and Real Madrid for their midfield.
That’s what the Sunday newspapers say, with the Spanish-language online site Revelo saying Liverpool are in a position to duel with Chelsea for Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister.
And Catalan El Nacional says Liverpool need to build around Aurelian Tchouameni, as the Real star plays but doesn’t show up as much as expected in Madrid after moving from Monaco.
Mac Allister has shown he can play in the Premier League and the World Cup winner would arguably not be cheap. more sensible party?
As for Tchouameni, we will have to ask ourselves the same questions. No, he is not a starter nailed to a brilliant midfield Eduardo Camavinga, but he played a lot at 23 years old and in an eternal aspirant to the Champions League.
Mac Allister would seem like the cheapest lure, not much, but watch out for Chelsea, who already have their teammate, World Cup-winning midfielder Enzo Fernandez. (NM)
Bayer Leverkusen phenom Florian Wirtz has returned from a serious knee injury and has shown that he has compatibility and shooting, called to the German configuration.
Fabrizio Romano says Liverpool are in a position to compete with Barcelona and Real Madrid for his services, while 90min says Man City, Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are looking for Wirtz.
Wirtz, 19, has a contract with Leverkusen for the 2026-27 season and his fees will be huge if he continues without showing the effects of his ACL injury.
The teenager returned to the Leverkusen squad at the end of January and racked up four assists in the Bundesliga, being a thorn in the side of Monaco and Ferencvaros in the Europa League. He scored twice with two assists in four innings between the two rivals.
Liverpool have a host of young attacking midfielders in Harvey Elliott and Fabio Carvalho, but Wirtz is rightfully one of the most exciting to come out of the Bundesliga since Kai Havertz and Timo Werner arrived from Leverkusen and Stuttgart.
Wirtz scored 10 goals and 14 assists in 31 games in all competitions in 2021-22, but suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in late March. (NM)
Football Insider says Liverpool could turn to Wolves for a pair of midfielders, adding club captain Ruben Neves.
Matheus Nunes is also a target for Jurgen Klopp, according to the site, which claims Liverpool are facing a serious festival of Newcastle United’s Neves.
Barcelona are also attacking the 26-year-old Neves, who could sneak into the Blaugrana line-up and refresh the midfielder of club legend Sergio Busquets. Dutch star Frenkie de Jong. (NM)
It’s possible that Roberto Firmino will simply head to MLS and signal for the new St. The 31-year-old Brazilian foreigner is out of contract this summer and it has been announced that he will leave Liverpool and will not signal a new contract. The loose agent will get a hit from some of Europe’s top clubs given his incredible influence at Anfield over the past eight years. Would it be a good idea for Firmino to move to MLS?You have to think that he would score a lot of goals and be a star in STL and there is a strong connection with the new MLS team because its current sporting director, Lutz Pfannenstiel, was with Firmino in Gerguyy at Hoffenheim. The expansion team has had a wonderful start in MLS and adding a player of Firmino’s quality would be a primary blow and give them a big boost, however, one would think that many MLS groups would be interested in pointing out Firmino. (JPW)
Carlos Baleba has been in Ligue 1 for just over a year but has earned his place on the wish list of Jurgen Klopp and several other Premier League contenders.
Lille resisted an offer from AC Milan for Baleba, 19, in January, according to 90min. com, but the ordeal comes this summer.
Liverpool have teamed up across Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle, West Ham and Leicester City in search of Baleba, who will collect nearly the $35 million Lille won from Everton’s Amadou Onana last summer.
Baleba just turned 19 in January and already has 14 senior appearances. It seems like $30 million is the new $15 million when it comes to young talent, and that also results in crossing out several names from the list above.
Baleba as 6 joining Harvey Elliott and Stefan Bajcetic as 8 – to mention Fabio Carvalho – would give Klopp 4 midfielders under 20. (NM)
After 8 years at Anfield, Roberto Firmino will leave Liverpool when his contract expires at the end of the current season. The 31-year-old Brazilian has scored 107 goals in 353 appearances since joining from Hoffenheim in the summer of 2015. During his Liverpool career, Firmino won the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League (twice runners-up) and the FA Cup.
Will Mohamed Salah end his years at Anfield if Liverpool fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League?A transfer report says yes, and Jurgen Klopp would agree.
Yes, one of the biggest players in Liverpool’s history may leave the city this summer, with reports indicating Paris Saint-Germain may be just a destination. The Ligue 1 plateau may see Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr or Kylian Mbappe leave Paris this summer. or some time later.
Liverpool have replenished their attacking wardrobe with Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo tough (but snake fans so far) joining Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota in the team.
Calcio Mercato says the Reds can also leave Diaz if it means scoring AC Milan star Rafael Leao as part of a trade deal.
Leao, 23, has scored 8 goals and six assists in 23 Serie A games this season, and the left-back is one of the most sought-after players in the world.
Would you, if you were Jurgen Klopp? (NEW MEXICO)
Reports from Gazetta dello Sport and Express imply that the rejuvenation of Liverpool’s midfield is underway.
Jude Bellingham is on the wish list of each and every big club, however, Liverpool is named as one of the favourites for the service of the Borussia Dortmund star and England.
Would you work better with Nicolo Barella of Inter Milan or Ryan Gravenberch of Bayern Munich? We can fail at least one point.
Barella, 26, rose through the ranks of Cagliari before joining Inter in 2020. He is an elite midfielder and a ball progresser who also looks for spaces in the area to get hold of it.
He has six goals and seven assists in 30 appearances in all competitions this season, and has so many appearances for Italy.
Gravenberch, 20, left Ajax this summer and made 22 appearances for a total of 665 minutes in opening time, scoring a goal and lending a hand in the cup against Viktoria Koln.
Before moving, Gravenberch is one of the most sought-after young players on the market. He is not at the same point as Barella in the movement of the ball, but he is very intelligent in the creation of shots and is more difficult to take and defensive presence than Barella. .
Liverpool is also named along with Newcastle, Spurs and West Ham as the ‘supervisor’ club Anton Stach of Mainz, 90min. com. (NM)
Liverpool’s front ranks have been shaken and their injury list is long, but the Reds have been tasked with occupying midfield for much of this season and things may not improve until the summer.
Jurgen Klopp has admitted this, and he has been known since long before Real Madrid’s embarrassing 5-2 thrashing of his Reds at Anfield: his monsters of mentality would remain confident, but the formula would not work without better players.
Then again, it’s hard to read Klopp’s comments on Friday and think he has more tactics to fix things than reasons why they don’t work in the first place.
In other words, he idealises the relative power of his club and also goes crazy about it, especially when the reputation is based on “Jurgen Klopp has no shortage of transfers”, but also when he lacks transfers.
Here are many quotes from Klopp, The Liverpool Echo:
“Of course, we are not so stupid. It’s not like, ‘Today it’s not smart and now we have to change. ‘It’s clear, it was clear. This team has a wonderful history. The way this club is run is not to spend the cash and see if it works or not. Our transfers will have to be punctual. So that complicates things a lot because we can’t make 4 transfers until we know who will leave the club.
“Last year was not a season for a big replacement. We played until the last moment. If you need to replace this club again, you can’t just bring in new players and then say, ‘Oh, nobody needs to leave. ‘It doesn’t work, it doesn’t work like that. That’s why it’s not imaginable to start early because we had ultimate after ultimate after ultimate. We played the season until the last minute, we played the ultimate of the Champions League. Then we had a short break, then we had a lot of injuries, then the World Cup.
“All the upheavals we knew we would have came here for most of that. And now we’re there and I know it’s too long. For me it’s too long because I have to face them in press conferences. Believe me, I don’t like to talk about it all the time, but I have to think about it all the time. That’s the situation, I can’t replace it.
“Now the others are not happy. We’re looking to fight and make the most of this season, that’s the idea. And stay in the era as best as possible. If I had to say, you better behave in the moment like this, the greater the subsequent times. The more useful the bad times are because they have to be useful in a different way, they are absolutely useless.
“But depending on how this club is run. It’s obviously different from other clubs, that’s right. But it has worked so far and we have to see if it will continue to work or if we have to adapt. Let me put it this way. But it’s anything for us in the office, when we’re not in the field of education. And for us, from my conversations with the owners. But that’s it, nothing more. It’s just paintings.
They gave it to me?Right? Exactly. Jurgen Klopp wishes the summer moving window gets here, that’s for sure. But to say that achieving the maximum prevents them from making long-term plans is an uninspired excuse or an accusation on the brains of everyone at Liverpool, adding Klopp himself. Smart cash is in the weak excuse. He is one of the most impressive motivators, tacticians and football minds of his generation. True, you can walk and chew gum at the same time.
It will also have to be exhausting for a coach to outplay teams and not kill their chances while making mistakes (in past seasons) at the other end. Liverpool remain third in points but suffer a hemorrhage xGA. I bet on a handful of stalwarts to delay Father Time for another season and Father Time said, “No. “(NEW MEXICO)

England midfielder Mason Mount wants a Chelsea, who are accumulating young skills midway through their season struggling to remain in the top four.
Liverpool saw a solution for the Blues: sell Mount to the red look of Merseyaspect.
The Reds would like to bring Mount to Anfield and the player has just 18 months left on his existing contract at Chelsea. One thing that hasn’t been discussed about owner Todd Boehly’s big expenses is the desire to satisfy those who are currently in blue.
Mount would bridge the gap between old and young midfielders at Liverpool, but how much money would he make given his role as an England national team player and his move to a direct rival (but also Chelsea’s preference for balancing their books)?
Juventus are also connected via The Guardian and Chelsea are reportedly offering a new contract for Mount . . . but anything to put on your radar. (NM)
It wouldn’t be a window of movement if Ruben Neves wasn’t connected to a Wolves teammate, would it?The Portuguese midfielder is lately the skipper of Molineux and leads his pace in the standings after the appointment of Julen Lopetegui. According to a report from Football Insider, Liverpool need to sign Neves this month as he has just over a year left on his contract. That means Wolves would still get a very high move pay for him, however, of the last $120 million, they were bringing clubs.
Given Liverpool’s difficulties in central midfield this season, Jude Bellingham is believed to be their favourite long-term target. They want Neves and Bellingham to combine to rejuvenate their midfield and push them back into the bottom four, at the very least. Can we see that happen? It would be pretty crazy for Wolves to sell Neves this month as they fight relegation. That said, if the font is large enough, they may just sell. (JPW)
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is the club’s spokesman, and the club’s spokesman would like to avoid answering questions about transfers.
“It has to be a language problem,” Klopp said. You have to ask those questions over and over again,” he told reporters, The Liverpool Echo. “I have answered it so many times before. Also look outwards. It’s not that we’re cursed and think, “This is it. “We’ll spend with those guys until 2050.
Klopp said he forgave because he knew his bosses were asking them to ask questions about transfers.
“In fact, we have low performance. I know, but I can’t here and blame everyone. The players, it is my duty that they perform. This is my first concern, my first task to do. . . Yes, we want to become stronger Oh, yes, but is this the right time to do it?I can’t see it because of the situation we’re in.
“I think I know precisely what the stage is like and that’s it. I can’t replace the answer each and every week because the scenario doesn’t replace, even if we lose some other game since the last press conference.
Liverpool have summoned Darwin Núñez, Cody Gakpo and Fabio Carvalho on indefinite contracts while loaning Arthur Melo. Last season they acquired Luis Díaz and Ibrahima Konaté.
The Reds looked as combined as a dog’s breakfast in their weekend defeat to Brighton, a setback Klopp said was the worst performance of his coaching career. (NM)
There are reports that the scenario of Ruben Neves’ contract at Wolves could give Liverpool his final transfer from Anfield.
In some ways, the Reds have managed to get players below market value often, but this is an easier explanation: Neves only has 18 months left on his contract and Wolves possibly need money now.
Neves is a sensational midfielder, but Wolves could potentially threaten his Premier League status, possibly thinking the Julen Lopetegui formula can thrive without Neves.
This is a no-brainer for the Reds, even in the aggregate of Klopp’s court cases (see update above). (NM)
Brighton and Hove Albion’s forged and affordable midfielder is the envy of much of the Premier League, but the latter adjective leaves Roberto De Zerbi’s club vulnerable to big-money suitors.
That’s going to be a challenge as clubs like Liverpool look ahead to January’s move window, and an Instagram post via Moises Caicedo fuels rumours of a move on Thursday.
Liverpool are said to need the ever-energetic 21-year-old Ecuadorian to rejuvenate an ageing unit led by Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and Thiago Alcantara.
Caicedo learning from Fabinho can fit into the Anfield sky for Jurgen Klopp, and the fierce young midfielder can also take some lessons from Jordan Henderson.
The salary increase and Champions League opportunities would make the one-minute drop value Caicedo’s sacrifice, and he could charge $30 million to $40 million less than Enzo Fernandez. (NM)
It’s official: Cody Gakpo is from the Anfield outfit.
Liverpool announced Gakpo’s arrival on Wednesday with an interview on their website, with Jurgen Klopp praising the Dutch striker.
“There’s a lot I like about Cody. He’s still only 23, but he already has a lot of experience. He was captain of PSV, he was player of the year in the Netherlands last season and, as many other people have just seen him, he also enjoyed a wonderful World Cup with his national team. Therefore, it is transparent that he is already a very, very wise player, but his age also means that he has possibilities to improve even more. Offensively, he’s very flexible and most sensitive, we know he’s an intelligent footballer and an intelligent person, so we’re excited to be able to work with him.
There can hardly be a better time for this move, whether you’re arguing in terms of club or player. Injuries to Luis Diaz and others opened the door for a strong player to make an instant impact, and Gakpo actually showed it at the World Cup. Cup than him in his game.
Could this make the difference for the Reds as they enter the top four of the Premier League and UEFA Champions League?

Very good. Just when it looked like Manchester United were going to point the finger at Cody Gakpo, it looks like their bitter rivals, Liverpool, are about to step in and point the finger at the Dutch winger.
His current club, PSV Eindhoven, showed that an agreement had been reached and that Gakpo was travelling to Liverpool to undergo a medical examination.
The 23-year-old striker will soon leave for England where he will be subject to the procedures prior to the completion of the transfer.
– PSV (@PSV) December 26, 2022
An initial report by The Times said the talks were “advanced” as they sought to trap their rivals to point out the perfect Dutch star at the World Cup. The 23-year-old is expected to travel to Liverpool soon for a medical. and according to The Athletic, an initial payment of almost $45 million has been agreed with PSV Eindhoven for Gakpo.
Where would Gakpo have compatibility with Liverpool? With Liverpool already having Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino in attack, it’s going to be intriguing. Gakpo, Nunez and Diaz will be Liverpool’s 3 most sensible for the next five years and I expect them to be complete, and they are a complete trio. of cunning, intensity, clinical completion and frankness. It’s an unexpected move from Liverpool, but it has perfect matches with their recruitment style and Gakpo turns out to be the type of player willing to stand out and score more than 20 goals per season in the Premier League. As it did with Luis Diaz, Liverpool sneaked above their rivals. (JPW)
With Liverpool permanently connected with Jude Bellingham and the quartet of Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara, either in the twilight of their careers or upon reaching it, it turns out that Liverpool’s main desire is in central midfield.
The 21-year-old midfielder announced himself globally at the World Cup when he scored and scored, held on to the plates and his impulses helped him be named the young player of the tournament. In many ways, he and Bellingham are very players. According to Record’s most recent report in Portugal, Benfica rejected a $105 million offer from an anonymous club for Fernandez. His buyout clause would be about $126 million.
When you think about his qualities as a player, Fernandez would have perfect compatibility with this Liverpool team. They have not hesitated to invest money in players needed in key spaces of the field in the afterlife (Virgil van Dijk and Alisson turn out this) and Fernández falls into that category as the Liverpool midfielder wants to strengthen and his signing would allow them to be solid for the next 4 to 5 years. Yes, that’s a lot of money for Fernandez and they can pay a premium because of their performances. But it’s still less expensive than Bellingham. (JPW)
Joe Gomez may no longer be Liverpool’s first (or second choice) centre-back, having Ibrahima Konate and Joel Matip overtaken him last season, but the 25-year-old is keen to continue his seven-year stay. . an Anfield. Gomez has signed a five-year contract until the summer of 2027. Gomez has since spoken to the club’s website: (AE)
“This is a distinctly special moment for me and my family. Another one you dreamed of as a child, and one I don’t take for granted.
“It’s an amazing place. In my opinion, probably one of the most productive, if not the most productive, clubs in the world right now. The opportunity to make my stay here bigger is a simple resolution to make, really.
“Obviously, I’ve been here for a while now, however, in the grand scheme of things, I still feel young, and as you say, the years are ahead of me. I have more to be informed and the time to do so. .
“I think I have the platform here to do that with the coach and the coaching around me and with my teammates, to make sure the most productive years come. I think as a group, the sky’s the limit. We need to do one, maybe two, more than last season and aim for all that. “

Liverpool are reportedly in a position to sell Mohamed Salah this summer, as the Egyptian star has only one year left on his existing contract. The Reds have been in talks with Salah for months about a new deal and according to a report via The Sun, Liverpool may sell Salah this summer for $74 million. According to the report, Real Madrid is the club Salah could move to as he looks to bolster his attack after losing Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland this summer.
Should Liverpool accept Salah as they did Sadio Mane earlier this week? With one more year on his contract and no real movement in the talks, the scenario is similar and Salah has earned everything he can at Liverpool. With the arrival of Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz over the past six months at Anfield, it appears Liverpool have already taken steps to update Mane and Salah in the long term. Now the question is whether they sell Salah this summer or if they threaten to cancel his contract and let him loose. next summer. The latter option would not be smart for Liverpool from an advertising point of view, especially as they have been very smart in terms of net spending and similar updates over the past six years. (JPW)
Bayern Munich claim Sadio Mane as a blow to their league after the Bundesliga champions unveiled the 30-year-old on Wednesday.
Hasan Salihamidžić, member of Bayern’s board of directors, speaks:
“With Sadio Mane, a wonderful foreign star arrives at Bayern, who has left his mark on world football. Sadio made it clear from the first minute of our talks that he was only looking to play for Bayern. Everyone knows his exceptional technical qualities as well as his mentality. He will bring a lot and help lead our team, which has a wonderful structure. The fact that he is joining FC Bayern shows that he and our club have big goals. Takumi Minamino’s time at Anfield appears to be over after Liverpool and Monaco agreed a move payment for the 27-year-old Japan international. The payout would be just under $16 million, with another $3 million imaginable in add-ons. After signing Minamino for $9 million two and a half years ago, Liverpool are expected to make a small profit on the deal (plus the loan payments they earned from Southampton in 2021. (EA)
The Senegalese star is inching closer to signing for Bayern Munich as he is in Bavaria for a medical check-up. Those scenes, but Mane leaves a legend by scoring 120 goals in 269 games for the Reds and embodying what they were under Jurgen Klopp. in a new challenge in his career after winning every single trophy imaginable with Liverpool over the past six seasons. Popular right-back Calvin Ramsay, 18, arrived from Aberdeen in a deal valued at $8 million. and Curtis Jones, to name a few), this resolution makes perfect sense.
“There’s an obvious trace here, that’s also one of the reasons I chose it. It’s not just a big club, they give opportunities to young players in the first team,” Ramsay said.
“So if I can go through pre-season, put my mark, then there’s no explanation as to why I can’t push to get into the first team. “

Liverpool are waiting for a new offer from Bayern Munich for star winger Sadio Mane, as reports claim the Senegalese has reached an agreement with the German series champions.
Mane, 29, has long been linked to Bayern and Fabrizio Romano says it will be a three-year contract for the striker.
Liverpool signed Darwin Nunez this summer and added Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota last season to reinvigorate their attack. This raises more questions for Mohamed Salah, who is entering the final year of his contract at Anfield (NM).
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is excited about the prospect of his new big buy, as potential nine-figure striker Darwin Nunez is already very, very good.
“Darwin is a glorious player; he’s already smart but he has a good chance of being even bigger,” Klopp said. “That’s why it’s so exciting, to be honest. His age, his desire, his thirst to be even greater than he is now. “. Their confidence in our mission and in what we seek as a club.

Darwin Nunez at Liverpool appears to be on the verge of being eliminated as the Uruguayan ace is reportedly heading to Anfield.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the 22-year-old Benfica star agreed a six-year touch at Liverpool and the Premier League giants also agreed a move payment with his existing club. According to the report, Liverpool will pay Benfica $84 million. guaranteed and you can pay up to $21 million more in refills. After serving around the world with Uruguay in recent weeks, Nunez left the Uruguayan camp and flew to Madrid, Spain, and is expected to travel to England to complete his doctor and sign the contract on Monday.
Darwin Núñez inspired Klopp when Liverpool played Benfica (Núñez scored in each and every match) and is a rising star in world football. His aggressiveness, clinical form and speed make him the best for this Liverpool team and he will have compatibility in the future. Luis Díaz and Mohamed Salah (at least for next season) at the head. Liverpool don’t joke once they know a player they need to point out and Nunez ticks all the boxes Jurgen Klopp needs from a striker. This arrangement makes a lot of sensewhich is almost too much better. (JPW)
Jurgen Klopp can bring Uruguayan centre forward Darwin Nunez to Anfield as the Reds continue to spend as much as the next. Nunez, 22, will be paid more than Manchester City paid for Erling Haaland, who had a release clause in his contract with Borussia Dortmund.
Liverpool paid Southampton $94 million to get Virgil van Dijk. The value Benfica is asking for Nunez is expected to start at $106 million, with Manchester United and Atletico Madrid among those also under discussion and capable of raising fees. Reports from Portugal imply Liverpool paid the $106 million fee. (NM)
Liverpool have reportedly been one of 3 clubs vying for Aurelian Tchouameni, but the 22-year-old Monaco midfielder will most likely head to Real Madrid after the reigning European champions beat the Reds again. $22 million available through add-ons. (EA)
Bayern Munich reportedly submitted $26 million (plus an additional $5 million) for Sadio Mane, but the Bundesliga giants were temporarily turned away through Liverpool. Bayern will no doubt return with some other offer, hoping to cap their prices at around $50 million. ( EE)
According to a report by FootballTransfers, 22-year-old Uruguayan striker Darwin Núñez is a target for the Reds this summer. After a very good season at Benfica, the centre forward is a sought-after guy like Manchester United, Newcastle, Real Madrid and several of the most sensible clubs in Europe continue to target him. With Sadio Mane out and doubts about Mohamed Salah’s future, Klopp may want to step up that attack this summer. Having brought in Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota in the last year. Liverpool have strength in intensity, but Núñez would give them something very different in attack with his heist game, back-run and ability to direct the channels from a central position. (JPW)

The 2022-23 Premier League season has come to an end regardless, allowing nerves to calm down and a collective sigh from each and every fan.
It’s wild.
[MORE: PST’s 2022-23 Premier League awards message]
So what will Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and their 17 closest friends do as a reminder?
And how is it more likely that City will repeat as Premier League champions for a fourth time, something that hasn’t been done since: checking notes, checking again, turning pages, scratching their foreheads, never?
Below are the most sensible odds on who will win the Premier League next season, as well as a number of surely far-fetched predictions about what will happen in the new campaign. . . All this after the jump.
It is clear that Manchester City will be the favourites to win the Premier League again, but you have to take a look at last season to see how things can go wrong temporarily.
Liverpool were destined to be Man City’s biggest rival for the 2022-23 Premier League trophy, but Arsenal, who led the table for much of the season, and Manchester United, briefly, joined in the fun.
Tottenham and Chelsea have fallen dramatically, while Newcastle United have become the fourth smartest and several teams (Brighton, Aston Villa, Brentford) have spent time as losers in the race.
Prediction No. 1: Erling Haaland will win the Golden Boot back-to-back
Yes, that’s not a far-fetched prediction, but it’s hard for Haaland not to find another piece of equipment given that most players seem more comfortable at their current moment in Pep’s system. In fact, if Man City wins the Champions League this year, perhaps Haaland’s concentration will lead to 40 goals!
Prediction No. 2: Top 4 and six most sensible races will be crazier than ever
It would be tempting to allocate retreats for Newcastle, Brighton, Brentford and even Aston Villa given the prospect of a tumult of movement and the demanding festival situations in Europe for all bees, but at least two of them will be alive in the first six photographs. proportionate physical fitness and sensible movement or two.
And now think about this: Chelsea and Tottenham will have the Premier League (and domestic cups) as their target, while Liverpool can prioritize the Premier League at least until they see what they think of the Europa League.
Prediction 3: Chelsea will temporarily adapt to Mauricio Pochettino
Todd Boehly wants Mauricio Pochettino to coach. Mauricio Pochettino wants Mauricio Pochettino to train. And Chelsea’s sheer intensity of skill is almost encouraged by their chance at the moment (or third or fourth) at the club.
Of course, there are doubts about the atmosphere at the club, but Pochettino will have the hanger rule from the first moment of pre-season and will have had plenty of time to anticipate the wishes of the team.
Chelsea just want to score more goals and Pochettino will find the completion of his men. Will that be enough to fight for the league? It’s unlikely, but the Blues look much better with their concentration in the league. And, hey, you wouldn’t rule out Chelsea taking one of the cups!
Prediction n°4: The relegation table will be a bit predictable
That doesn’t mean a ton looking at the back of the Premier League has been crazy this season, but pay attention to us. West Ham, Wolves, Everton. . . The list of clubs that were strangely in or near the last 3 was long. It is natural, a little too much, to expect that the promoted groups will have difficulties, however, there are reasons to think that the 3 groups will take a while to adapt to the level.
Burnley’s star of the season was Nathan Tella, on loan at Southampton, and the Clarets will have several important questions to answer when it comes to loan players and the movement market. Sheffield United still have Sander Berge and some other pillars of their PL crusade however we will have to hope that Iliman Ndiaye is in a position to make the leap. And Luton Town wants to make a massive change quickly. That’s not to say some or all of the new guys wouldn’t stay awake, but it’s hard to assign a Fulham-style quick start to everything. . . at least for now.
Prediction No. 5: Declan Rice and Harry Kane will be the contenders for Player of the Year
Many expect Declan Rice to leave West Ham United for a Premier League powerhouse (Bayern Munich have also been connected) and the Irons midfielder would likely not take too long to adapt to a new system. That’s because Rice’s skills are very flexible and what he does most productive are the undeniable things. No matter which “Big Six” club he joins, Rice will get a lot of love because he’s the kind of player who makes everyone’s task easier.
As for Harry Kane, the guy with 30 targets is on a project to chase Alan Shearer. Whether he continues at Tottenham while going on a world tour as a loose agent, or whether he happens in a prominent role at Manchester United or some other. another English club, that is to say that we are going to see the most productive of Kane assuming that he stays healthy.

The 2022-23 Premier League season featured so many surprises that even a result predicted by many ended up a bit like one.
[ VIDEO: Premier League recap ]
As for the official Premier League awards, Erling Haaland named Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year. And rightly so. He set a new record for the most goals scored in a Premier League season without getting married.
Manchester City won their third consecutive name in the Premier League after spending most of the season watching Arsenal’s wonderful package, while most players have had an unpredictable season.
Did you have Chelsea with the fourth place with the fewest goals in the league and the sixth with the fewest wins?Did you bring Tottenham into the last week with Europe without insurance? What if Liverpool need a spice to finish fifth?
– Premier League (@premierleague) May 27, 2023
Have you had Newcastle, Brighton and Brentford as contenders this season for European places? What about Leicester City, West Ham and Wolves as the bottom of most of the campaign?
Twelve groups have replaced coaches at least once. He has broken the record for goals in a season in the Premier League. Liverpool won the matches 7-0 (against Man Utd!) and 9-0, but lost by 3 or more goals 3 times and it was two games to win.
In other words, the Jim Halpert “What’s going on?” GIF the unofficial sponsor of the 2022-23 season.
So who and what were the most productive and worst moments of this wild and woolly season? Our senior editor, Joe Prince-Wright, joined Andy Edwards and Nick Mendola to decide everything from the most productive XI to the biggest disappointment.
Andy Edwards as David Raya
JPW: William Saliba – What a season for the French centre-back. Arsenal’s collapse at the end of the season coincided with his injury and that shows how he is.
Nick Mendola: Saliba: Ruben Dias, the most productive component of the league’s most productive defence, and Kieran Trippier, a sexier option, but Arsenal’s abrupt fall without Saliba speaks volumes.
Andy Edwards as Kieran Trippier
JPW: Bukayo Saka: tore apart the groups of the season and often couldn’t play. He and the other Arsenal teenagers are very synchronized.
Nick Mendola: Saka – The streak faltered a lot, yet he is only 21 years old and has reached double figures in shots and assists.
Andy Edwards as Bukayo Saka
JPW: Mikel Arteta: Moving from fifth to second is a huge leap forward and Arteta deserves a big compliment for bringing the Gunners back to the Premier League. With a deeper team, you can challenge them for the title.
Nick Mendola: Eddie Howe: Pep is the most productive at doing it (maybe ever), but Howe is at least a year ahead of time in bringing Newcastle into the Champions League. for November, December and January. Newcastle have only lost back-to-back league games once, and it’s a double whammy Liverpool-Man City.
Andy Edwards as Eddie Howe
JPW
Nick Papa
Kieran Trippier – William Saliba – Ruben Dias – Luke Shaw
Rodri-Kevin De Bruyne-Martin Odegaard
Bukayo Saka — Harry Kane
Erling Haaland
Nicolas Mendola
Alison Becker
Kieran Trippier — Wiliam Saliba — Ruben Dias
Rodri — Bruno Guimarães
Kevin De Bruyne-Martin Odegaard-Bukayo Saka
Harry Kane-Erling Haaland
Andy Edwards
David Raya
Kieran Trippier — Manuel Akanji — Ben me — Fabian Schar
Guimaraes B, Buryne K, Odegaard Martin
Bukayo Saka – Erling Haaland – Harry Kane
JPW: Erling Haaland – Who else!? He broke the record for goals scored in the Premier League and the missing piece of City’s puzzle. A machine.
Nick Mendola: Erling Haaland: It may have only been Martin Odegaard until Arsenal died out, when the Gunners left with a groan.
Andy Edwards as Erling Haaland
JPW: Bukayo Saka
Nick Mendola: tie between Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah. Then. . . Rodri.
Andy Edwards as Bukayo Saka
JPW: Romeo Lavia – The teenager is a budding star and will leave Southampton relegated and be trapped in one of the most sensible six this summer. With 19 years and already a Belgian international, Lavia rises to the most sensible.
Nick Mendola as Amadou Onana: It could have been Tyler Adams had the American not been injured, but Onana is in action and will get the rescue of a king even if Everton falls at the last hurdle.
Andy Edwards as James Maddison
JPW: Kaoru Mitoma for Brighton in Leicester. Incredible ability to cut and what an ending. One of the players of the season (along with compatriots Seagulls Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister) as Brighton surprised everyone to qualify for Europe.
Nick Mendola: There have been sensational pieces of teamwork and dazzling from distance, and I’m going for the last when unforeseen rocket launcher Michael Keane threw in a beaten and vicious draw for Everton against Tottenham.
Andy Edwards: Ivan Toney’s 3rd hat-trick goal against Leeds on 6 September.
JPW: Joao Palhinha – His importance to Fulham is huge and one of the midfielders in the Premier League. The Cottagers will do well to remain the Portuguese midfielder this summer.
Nick Mendola: Gabriel Jesus deserves a mention and Sven Botman is right there, however, he is Casemiro for me. Leaving aside the pair of red cards, it replaced the total feeling of what it meant for the conflicting parties to see Manchester United in the match list.
Andy Edwards as Casemiro
JPW: Brighton – Finishing in the European places after losing Graham Potter at the start of the season is quite an achievement. And doing it the way they play with fluid, exciting, attacking football is even better. Roberto De Zerbi has added an upturn in his attacking game and Brighton will lose many stars this summer, his signing has been sensational and owner Tony Bloom has created the club style. Every young player on the planet will now have to point to Brighton.
Nick Mendola: Brighton – Shouldn’t it mean Man City?Perhaps, however, the Seagulls were forced to replace Graham Potter and succeeded, securing career seasons from Pascal Gross and Solly March, making Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister the most desired midfield. duo in England, and even featuring Kaoru Mitoma and Evan Ferguson as their next stars in the market and academia, respectively.
Andy Edwards: Brighton and Hove Albion
JPW: Manchester City 4-1 Arsenal: Name favourites face off in what looked like a dazzled decision-maker and superstars for City.
Nick Mendola: The first Manchester derby of the year probably deserves to be the date on which we agree the season has arrived. Manchester United had won 4 times in a row after a slow start for Erik ten Hag and there wasn’t a pair of eyes. in the Premier League that did not drag in this one. It was then that Erling Haaland scored 3 goals and two assists to warn the Golden Boot league and Manchester that any red tide deserves to wait a bit.
Andy Edwards: Harry Kane scores his 267th goal for Tottenham’s top scorer.
JPW: Leicester City: push for the 4 most sensible, be in Europe and win the FA Cup in relegation with practically the same team. Great season of low performance.
Nick Mendola: The Big Six. You can argue for 3 of the great classics and maybe even 4 given everything Arsenal have been up to since early April. Did you know that the Gunners are no longer the two most sensible for the expected points?Whether it’s Liverpool’s change in mindset and making excuses, Chelsea’s whirlwind of everything, or Harry Kane’s (and Antonio Conte’s) shocking defeat of Tottenham, well. . . Wow.
Andy Edwards: All about Tottenham’s season that wasn’t Harry Kane breaking the club’s record for purposes.
JPW: Tottenham: from Antonio Conte’s crisis to Harry Kane’s brilliance and so many surprising and horrible presentations intertwined, the Premier League team of Jekyll and Hyde. They had no idea what they were going to produce from week to week.
Nick Mendola: Chelsea: These are the groups that win fewer games than the Blues with one game day remaining: Forest, Leicester, Leeds, Everton, Southampton. We had questions after the replacement of the property meant unforeseen departures for Andreas Christensen and Antonio. Rudiger, and even more so after Chelsea bought more than a dozen players valued at more than $ 10 million and only discovered one that will definitely be one hundred percent component of the overall picture (Enzo Fernandez. We would have included Marc Cucurella but he would be unstable. )
Andy Edwards: Leicester stay with Brendan Rodgers until April with relegation imminent.
JPW: Ralph Hasenhuttl: Southampton hadn’t subsidized Hasenhuttl in the play-off market for almost four years and the first time they did, they gave him 14 games with a group of talented youngsters. He had done a great job stabilising shipping despite a lack of investment and the new owners, Sport Republic, have given him more time to turn things around and work with new recruits in the January window. What a mess the Saints were when they hired and fired Nathan Jones, then resigned themselves to their fate. when assistant manager Ruben Selles was appointed. Now they have to hit the reset button particularly (Burnley style) in the league.
Nick Mendola: How do you decide on just one? Thomas Tuchel’s sacking didn’t work out for Chelsea, and Joe is right that sacking Ralph Hasenhuttl is not the answer, but in the face of the threat of appearing biased, I join Jesse Marsch. The 49-year-old American was fired less than a year. Week after the January move window closed and even if you think you had to leave, the club did not have a replacement in one position for 3 games. Finally hiring Javi Gracia to solidify their defence, Leeds kept a blank sheet on their deyet, a 1-0 win at Southampton, and did not repeat the day.
Andy Edwards: Antonio Conte, how did he take
