Anthony Martial is expected to leave Manchester United at the end of the season and Inter Milan reportedly have a possible destination for him.
The French striker’s contract at Old Trafford expires in June and Erik ten Hag has no longer granted him an extension.
That means Martial will be free this summer and several teams are considering making a move for him.
The 28-year-old has made thirteen Premier League appearances this season, scoring just one goal in the proceedings and a groin injury means he has probably already played his last game for Man Utd.
Lyon were presented with the opportunity to sign Martial through the player’s entourage, but reportedly turned down the opportunity.
The striker has been accused of bad attitude, but several groups are still thinking about attacking him.
Saudi Arabian clubs reportedly have Martial on their radar, but the striker could get the chance to play at the top of European football with Inter Milan.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are contemplating a move for Martial, but will have to do so between him and other of their moving targets.
It is claimed that the Italian giants will “only point to one thing” between the Manchester United star and Genoa attacking midfielder Albert Gudmundsson.
Gudmundsson has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham weeks after his performances earned him rave reviews.
Juventus are also competing with Inter and Spurs for the Icelandic international, who is valued at £21 million.
Inter have already “had positive talks” about a deal for Gudmundsson and will make a decision on whether or not to sign him in the near future.
However, the Nerazzuri are the only team interested in Martial. La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Turkish side Fenerbahçe and two “top-tier” French clubs are keeping a close eye on his situation.
What is certain is that Martial will leave Manchester United at the end of the campaign.
The Red Devils may get nothing in return for the £60 million (including extras) they paid for him, but they will remove his exorbitant £250,000 weekly salary from their books.
