Everton expects Jonjoe Kenny to be part of Carlo Ancelotti’s team next season.
The right-back is attracting the interest of a number of rival clubs, who have been in contact with the Blues. Ancelotti lately expects Kenny to fight Seamus Coleman.
Everton has ruled out the promotion of the 23-year-old if a club is willing to meet its rating, but ECHO has been informed that Kenny is most likely to remain at this level at Goodison.
The Academy product is scheduled to return to Finch Farm on Friday for a first Covid-19 test circular before the team returns for pre-season education on Sunday.
Kenny spent last season on loan with Schalke and Bundesliga club he was denied a moment’s transfer through Everton, and German club Jochen Schneider said the Blues “had other plans.”

Everton is connected to a resolution through Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
According to a report by The Express, Les Bleus have demonstrated by signing former Arsenal captain this summer.
The report goes on to say that Juventus are in a position to allow Ramsey to leave the club for a loose move this summer, despite having signed only for The Serie A giants last summer.

Former England number one David James has said Jordan Pickford will face a war for Gareth Southgate’s first choice.
The retired shooter said the Everton star faced a tough festival of Dean Henderson and Nick Pope.
James told the PA news agency, quoted from BT: “I look at Pickford and it has wonderful qualities. Being number one is very, very difficult.
“On the one hand, other people need to shoot you, of course, because that’s the nature of the game.
