Speaking of whether a change to Everton would be a step forward for Zaha, Bent told Football Insider: “I think that’s the case.
“I know you can see where they are in the league, but I’d say it’s a step forward, they have a more sensible coach, it will attract the most productive players.”
“I love what they’re doing there, they’re building something pretty special, so it would be great if Zaha passed out and put them back where they think they are.
“I like it, it looks good on you and you’d do well to go.
“It’s about finding the solution for him and if he goes to Everton he’ll have a lot of game time and he’ll be fine.”

Calls are being developed for the Premier League to reconsider its position on restricting access to the British public’s transmission of the existing pandemic.
The new Premier League season is expected to begin early next month behind closed doors and it is very likely that when enthusiasts return to stadiums, it will be with significantly reduced capacity for some time.
When high-level football returned in June after a three-month hiatus, they all adjusted to television, allowing enthusiasts to watch at least their team from home.
But while the number of Premier League matches to be broadcast in 2020/21 is expected to increase slightly from 20 to 220 in total, this still means that 160 matches will not be available in the UK, but will be televised abroad.
ECHO reported earlier this week how Everton fan teams were asking clubs, premier league and broadcasters to find a way to make those suits available to fit enthusiasts when they can still attend in person.
And it was announced Wednesday that all English Football League matches will have to be watched from home while matches continue to be played behind closed doors or with limited capacity.
