John Hartson, former Arsenal F. C. forward player, retired from football 12 years ago, but still suffers injuries from the start.
Hartson, who has no cancer after an episode of testicular cancer, says CBD has helped him treat his back pain and health, The Sun reports.
“There are few other people in the game who have had more serious injuries than me,” he said. “I had two rear operations, which caused me to lose the UEFA Cup final. I had brain and lung surgeries. I’ve been feeling smart since I’ve been with oil, ” he said.

Earlier this year, Hartson was an ambassador for Supreme CBD, a company founded through British boxer Anthony Fowler.
“It combats anxiety, depression, pain and discomfort, sleep and is used through many of the most sensitive boxers for recovery,” Hartson said, adding that he consumes CBD in his gums and oil.
CBD intake among existing and former athletes has been higher in years.
Rachael Rapinoe, a former professional footballer and sister of football star Megan Rapinoe, is now ceo of Mendi, a CBD company in Oregon.
Rapinoe told The GrowthOpear more this year that his prospects on hashish and CBD, and the role they can play in athletics, began to replace about five years ago when he saw athletes incorporating the plant into their educational regimens.
