Michael Brown said no one in Tottenham can earn more than Harry Kane.
Speaking exclusively to Russell Edge, assistant editor of Football Insider, former Spurs midfielder warned that North London is the best position for the extreme after his surprising start to the season.
As revealed in the last week, the Spurs are in complex talks with the South Korean star after handing him a new five-year contract worth more than 200,000 euros consistent with the week.
That would put the South Korean alien in the same category as the club’s most sensitive winners, Kane and Tanguy Ndombele.
Brown said he told Kane that he wrote in his contract that it remains the club’s most productive income.
He told Football Insider, “I’d be surprised if 200,000 euros a week, I would, because of the wage distribution there, I said [there’s a clause] that doesn’t go above Harry Kane. “
“Everything revolves around him to sign his contract, I think he’s in such a smart position, why wouldn’t you sign a five-year contract betting on this Spurs team?
“He was given an important role, score passes, create passes and are up there in the most sensitive in the league, so I think why don’t you stop by, take the next two years and see where it happens.
“Yes, it’s very interesting, but it’s fantastic. “
Son has already scored 11 goals and five assists in 14 games in all competitions this quarter.
Since leaving Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the Bundesliga in 2015, the 28-year-old has discovered all 96 times and contributed 52 assists in 243 appearances.
