Exclusive: Top Pundit why Leeds’ new mega signing will make a sensation

Michael Brown has signed Leeds United with Rodrigo to temporarily move to the Premier League when he ends his signing.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, Brown believes the Spaniard’s past in the Premier League will be him.

Rodrigo, 29, spent the 2010/11 season at Benfica’s Bolton Wanderers, where he played 15 Premier League games, scoring one goal.

Valencia CF reached on Tuesday an initial agreement with @LUFC for the move of footballer Rodrigo Moreno, at the cost of completing all the documents and formalities and approving the medical examination.

Valencia announced on Tuesday that it had reached an agreement with Leeds for Rodrigo’s move, but Leeds has still announced the signing.

He revealed that the deal would charge Leeds a total of 48 million pounds, with a down payment of 27 million pounds.

The whites broke their salary scheme to get Rodrigo signed, with a four-year contract of 100,000 euros consistent with the week.

When asked through Football Insider whether Rodrigo’s past Premier League with Bolton will do so at Leeds, Brown said:

“It will help you, he was a young boy at the time and now he will be much better prepared.

“When I finished and witnessed it, it helps.

“It’s a wonderful call for players who come to this country and see how they say “it takes 12 months to settle down,” but he got that start.

“It’s time and it’ll take a little time. Don’t wait too far right away, you have to perceive that with the Premier League.

“But it’s exciting when it happens.”

Rodrigo scored seven goals and recorded assists in 34 games in all competitions with Valencia last season.

In six seasons with Valencia, the striker played 220 games, scored goals and contributed 41 assists.

In other News from Leeds United, Kevin Phillips said a white midfielder would be “the most sensible in the world” after primary development.
