The San Francisco 49ers will begin their Week 3 exit against a modest New York Giants team that lacks main parts on both sides of the ball.

Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a sprained ankle in the first part of last week’s thrilling victory over the Jets. Although he suffered the injury in the last quarter, the veteran returned.
