There have been some exciting games in the FA Cup fifth round that have lived up to the hype.

Liverpool faced a difficult scenario due to injuries in their FA Cup fifth round match against Southampton. Some of their key players, such as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunes, were unavailable.

However, Liverpool’s Jayden Dann and Lewis Koumas played exceptionally well and secured a 3-0 victory, which allowed the Reds to qualify for the FA Cup quarter-finals.

It was not a matter of doubt, as Liverpool, despite injuries, beat Southampton and put Manchester United in the quarter-finals.

Youngster Jayden Danns scored his second goal of the game with a hard right-footed shot from the centre of the box, sending the ball up and extending Liverpool’s 3-0 lead.

It wasn’t the offensive fight it appeared to be. After Mario Lemina scored in the second minute, Wolverhampton battled Brighton all over the field. A late goal was unimaginable and Wolves head to the quarter-finals to face Coventry City. .

Manchester United ran into a stingy Nottingham side but came away with the result. After a late goal from Casemiro, United will get the winner of Liverpool vs. Southampton
