FA documents say Chelsea have extended the contracts of two players.
Chelsea have acted to extend the contracts of Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk, both players who will remain at the club until they are thirty years old.
FA documents revealed that Fernandez had 8 years left on his £180,000-per-week contract with the Blues, which runs until 2032. Meanwhile, Mudryk had seven years left on his £97,000-per-week contract until 2031.

This means that Fernandez will be 31 when his contract expires, while Mudryk will be 30 at the end of his.
Both signed for Chelsea last January: Fernandez cost Benfica around £106. 8m and Mudryk joined for £88. 5m at Shakhtar Donetsk.
It is unclear why Chelsea have opted to extend the deal given that they still have time left to execute their respective contracts.
While both players have struggled so hard to live up to their expectations at Stamford Bridge, Fernandez insisted last week that he had more to come from him in the future.

“I’m looking to get to that point, to the version of me that you saw at the World Cup,” the 23-year-old told Chelsea’s official website. “I need to feel like that Enzo who bets on the World Cup. I need to go back.
“I feel good, I’m getting better every day, but I still don’t feel like I’m 100 percent. I’m still adjusting and I still don’t feel fully myself, but I still feel better. “I’m looking to get there as temporarily as possible and I’m running hard every day to get there.
“It’s not going to be easy because the World Cup is over and I’m still improving as a player and improving my skills, but I’m all for that, Enzo. I need to feel absolutely myself again.
Lewis Hall also had his contract extended last time out but joined Newcastle this summer on a season-long loan, with the deal set as permanent at the end of the season at £28m.

The knowledge of the contract of Fernandez, Mudryk and Hall is part of the annual report on invoices from FA agents, published last week.
The same report that the Blues paid a record £75. 1m in agent fees between February 2023 and February 2024.
Elsewhere, Manchester City spent £60. 6 million on agent fees, while Manchester United spent £34 million. Liverpool spent £31. 5 million on agent fees, while Arsenal recorded an expenditure of £24. 7 million.
