BAYER LEVERKUSEN has a cheeky photo of Granit Xhaka moments after Arsenal failed to win the Premier League title.
Despite their 2-1 win over Everton, the Gunners denied Prem’s glory as Manchester City triumphed 3-1 over West Ham.
Arsenal allowed their former club captain, Xhaka, 31, to leave for Leverkusen over the summer.
Since then, he has made a surprising crusade with the German and is on the verge of sealing an unbeaten hat-trick.
Leverkusen referred to their unbeaten victory in the Bundesliga by beating Augsburg 2-1 yesterday.
They will face Atalanta on Wednesday in the Europa League final, before facing Kaiserslautern in the DFB Pokal final next weekend.
Moments after Arsenal’s season ended, Leverkusen’s X-account posted a snapshot of Xhaka, the Bundesliga trophy.
They captioned it: “What a feeling. “
Fans still couldn’t tell the timing of the post.
One wrote: “This is an infringement by the Leverkusen administrator. “

Xhaka has made 297 appearances for Arsenal in seven years at the Emirates.
He has thus played 33 Bundesliga games with Leverkusen, adding 48 in all competitions.
Xhaka’s teammate Jeremiah Frimpong took aim at the Gunners at Leverkusen’s name celebrations last month.
He brazenly said in an Instagram Live: “We won it! Granit, you come from Arsenal and you won it here, my damn G!”
