Several points are entering a successful fantasy season. Managers want to be wise in their compositional choices, paint the resignation thread as an experienced NFL executive and notice the price at each and every level of the fantasy project. However, few things do or break a season as the first selections.
Placing an elite player at the beginning of the draft, usually a ball carrier or receiver, provides a core around which to build. However, it is even more important to avoid an advance selection of a player who is attached to the bank.
While injuries and other unforeseen points are unavoidable, managers can protect themselves by choosing consistent interpreters that customers for expansion or recession at the start of the project.

Saquon Barkley, RB, New York Giants
According to his 2019 figures (2,392 yards combined with run and reception and 19 touchdowns), the Carolina Panthers’ offensive side, Christian McCaffrey, is the common sense selection in the most sensible ranking. Managers who don’t have the number one selection still have a chance to oppose the offensive part of the New York Giants, Saquon Barkley, who pulls the trigger.
While Barkley missed three games in 2019, he still finished with 1,003 yards on the ground, receptions, 438 yards received and 8 touchdowns. In 16 rookie games, he led 2,000 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Barkley is the centerpiece of the Giants’ offense, and will be one of the most productive ball carriers virtually every single week he is healthy.
It can be picked up and left in the starting lineup until the week off, assuming that no luckily injury occurs.
Julio Jones, WR, Atlanta Falcons
New Orleans Saints team member Michael Thomas may claim to be the fantasy catcher, especially in the PPR leagues, but Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons is as consistent as possible.
Only the last time Jones didn’t spend 1,300 yards at reception was in 2013, when he was limited to five games. Totaled 1,394 yards last season and at least 1,400 yards each since 2013. He has also had at least 80 receptions each season since 2013.
“I know defensive coordinators who lose sleep 3 nights before having to face July,” said NFL Network’s Peter Schrager on Good Morning Football.
With a long-standing Hall of Fame member in Matt Ryan as a quarterback, Jones leaves no questions on his floor or ceiling in the fantasy scene.
George Kittle, TE, 49ers de San Francisco
Only a few tight finals deserve to be in the first two rounds, however, guys like Travis Kelce, Zach Ertz and George Kittle can be No. 1 pass catchers. Kelce, who has amassed more than 2,500 yards receiving in more than two seasons, is the tight finale to aim first.
However, the San Francisco 49ers Kittle is remarkably consistent and can be selected with doubt due to its upper floor.
Kittle is the number one target of the San Francisco attack. He has passed 1,000 yards in the last two seasons and has caught 173 passes in that consistent period. In the more than two years, Kittle has averaged about six receptions and 81 yards consistent with the game, with a landing in both one and three games.
Managers can write Kittle early with confidence in any fantasy format in a season.
