Top Sleepers to aim for

Allen Lazard, WR, Packers de Green Bay

When a team has a future Hall of Famer at quarterback, it will typically yield more than one viable fantasy option at the wide receiver position. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, however, only has Davante Adams as a reliable and proven option.

However, his compatriot Allen Lazard may potentially be some other reliable goal and an applicable fantasy. Much will feature his war in the field of education for a position for now, which will also come with Marquez Valdés-Scantling and Jake Kumerow, among others.

Lazard finished second to Adams among Green Bay receivers with 477 yards last season, while Valdes-Scantling was second in starts with 10. Free-agent acquisition Devin Funchess was expected to be part of this competition, but he decided to opt out for 2020.

The Packers’ next camp will be the key to identifying the legitimate sleeper in this group, Lazard’s 2019 rise expected to give him the interior. With an average draft position (ADP) of only 184, according to FantasyPros, Lazard can be a massive flight at the end of the round.

Will Fuller, WR, Texans of Houston

With DeAndre Hopkins now in Arizona, the Houston Texans will have to identify a new No. 1 receiver. Its features come with low-season additions branin Cooks and Randall Cobb. However, Will Fuller’s return will not be counted.

Fuller is the only one of the 3 to have established chemistry with Field Marshal Deshaun Watson. In 11 games last season, Fuller had 670 yards and three touchdowns.

Availability can now be a challenge for Fuller, as you still have to complete a full 16-game campaign. However, it enters the season healthy and able to ride.

“It looks as charming as ever and that makes us happy,” said Head Coach Bill O’Brien, via Austin Nivison’s 247Sports.

On a prorated basis for an entire season, Fuller’s numbers in 2019 would be 71 receptions, 974 yards and 4 touchdowns. He’s Houston’s No. 2 catcher, so he could safely overcome 1,000 yards if he had a chance to be no. 1.

With an ADP of 90, through FantasyPros, Fuller is probably a full flight as Lazard can be, but he can still be a leading sleeper.

Cam Akers, RB, Los Angeles Rams

Kansas City Chiefs’ offensive lineman, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, is the only rookie who deserves to be the goal at the beginning of the draft because he now has a transparent trail toward the initial concert: Damien Williams has retired.

However, Los Angeles Rams rookie Cam Akers is a forged sleeper if he can beat Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson for the starting position. Akers, at least, showed the university that it can handle a heavy workload.

In 2019, Akers loaded the ball 231 times for 1,144 yards and 14 touchdowns. He put in 30 passes for 225 yards and four more.

Brown has 197 runs in five NFL seasons, while Henderson saw 39 rookie runs last year.

With an ADP of 68, according to FantasyPros, Akers is a potential sleeper who will want to be a target in between but can still contribute a lot.
