Fantasy Football Week 14: Start, get down

It’s week 14 of the 2020 NFL season and it means one thing: it’s time to dust off Jim Mora’s old impression because those are the playoffs.

He gets old.

It’s a stressful time of year for fantasy managers. Adjustment every week is a season in its own right, probably taking the form of a difficult confrontation against a formidable enemy. Get a win and the season progresses. She takes a loss and that’s all she wrote; Season’s over.

Each alignment resolution is even more important. Each point can strike the balance between the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.

And that can lead managers to distraction.

This column is here to get things back on track. Every week I review the list questions in the Bleacher Report app and provide answers to fantasy managers for a win.

At this time of year, those victories much more.

It’s more like showing up than asking a question. It’s a complete quartet of pass receivers.

So I’m small and petty, what’s going on? Don’t judge me.

When you look at an organization of comparable features like this, conditions and confrontations separate the most productive features from the package, so let’s take a look at those parts through this lens.

Mike Evans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has 1,000 yards receiving for the first time in his career, but the seventh-year veteran also has 11 touchdowns in 12 games and faces a Minnesota Vikings team that has dropped the fourth-biggest number of problems. (PPR) consistent with the game for wide receivers.

On the other side of this game, Justin Jefferson had a stellar rookie season with 1,039 receiving yards, seven goals and five hundred-yard games (including last week). t so strong.

Allen Robinson II of the Chicago Bears is fourth in the NFL in goals with 115 and ranks in the 20 most sensitive fantasy problems among open catchers, but no one will confuse bears air play with the Kansas City Chiefs offensive in the short term.

Then Terry McLaurin of the Washington football team. He also ranks in the 10 most sensitive goals of the season and has more PPR problems than Evans this year. But washington’s offense limits its edge, and this week’s game with the San Francisco 49ers is only average.

Jefferson is the simplest “yes” of this group, and the moment is for Evans.

This with the Vikings is too smart to let go.

The call: Mike Evans (DFS DraftKings: $6600), Justin Jefferson (DFS DraftKings value: $7400)

It’s hard to definitively respond to the first component of this consultation without knowing the other features under the center, but given how wonderful Josh Allen looked at the Buffalo Bills when he burned the San Francisco 49ers last week and the fact that Alex Smith just passed about three hundred yards opposite the Pittsburgh Steelers, the list of people they called stood in front of Allen in week 14.

Don’t do it too much.

This leaves us with two widths and a flex to select. We’ll start with the last one, because it makes sense.

The offensive part of the Indianapolis Colts Jonathan Taylor has been fashionable in recent years with at least 16 touchdowns and more than 110 total yards in each of the last two games. The Las Vegas Raiders were type for offensive partbacks, giving the fifth-highest number of PPR problems to the position. It is a difficult combo to pass, so the amateur rider gets the bending signal.

As an open receiver, Michael Thomas of the New Orleans Saints will have to occupy one of the places. His roof is too high to stay out, especially given the frequency with which Taysom Hill has attacked him since he took over as field marshal of the Saints.

Cooconsistent with Kupp of the Los Angeles Rams has averaged nine goals consistent with the game for more than 3 weeks, and Amari Cooconsistent with the Dallas Cowboys has a landing in two consecutive games. But Chris Godwin of the Buccaneers gets the same candy school the Minnesota Vikings that earned Mike Evans a nod on the last question, so the starting place of the moment at the catcher is his.

The call: Josh Allen (DFS DraftKings value: $7,100), Michael Thomas (DFS DraftKings value: $7,100), Chris Godwin (DFS DraftKings value: $6300), Jonathan Taylor (DFS DraftKings value: $5800)

We have some first applicants to be the boy this week.

We’ll go forward and return this one as well and the bending factor first. It is usually sensible to rely on runners in flexible places for an undeniable reason: keys. Players cannot collect fancy themes without the ball.

Antonio Gibson of the Washington football team is out. The rookie is fighting for the turf and his prestige for Sunday as opposed to the San Francisco 49ers is uncertain. Myles Gaskin of the Miami Dolphins exploded for 141 total yards last week against the Cincinnati Bengals, however, this week’s game with the Kansas City Chiefs is rarely very good, especially if your team has to drop out of the race and catch up.

Jonathan Taylor has been hot and draws a fantasy game in the top five for offensive midfielders, so he gets the call.

The wide receiver’s dilemma is attractive and delicate. Brandon Aiyuk of the 49ers came off a 5/95/1 line opposite the Buffalo Bills, but his purpose was consistent with an erratic percentage and Washington gave up the third-lowest number of PPR problems. consistent with game for wide receivers in 2020.

It’s a pass.

Ditto for Corey Davis of the Tennessee Titans, who exploded last week against the Cleveland Browns with 11 receptions for 182 yards and one goal, but also had thirteen receptions in the last 4 games combined.

That leaves Amari Cooper. La Loss of Dak Prescott has done her no favors to her value, however, she is obviously the number one receiver in Dallas since Andy Dalton took over and has at least five double-digit PPR receptions and issues in each of the last four Contests.

The call: Amari Cooper (DFS DraftKings: $6500), Jonathan Taylor (DFS DraftKings value: $5800),

If I didn’t know better, I’d think there’s some discomfort in starting Jonathan Taylor in a week to win. Call it a hunch.

This is understandable given the fluctuating keys for the rookie this season, however this component of the workload turns out to have stabilized at the ideal time for fantasy coaches. It’s an opposite check out to a Los Vegas Raiders team consistent with 121. 1 yards consistent with the game on the ground.

The fluctuation of the keys is also an explanation of why JK Dobbins came out of the Baltimore Ravens. He has double-digit runs, at least 70 yards on the court and a score in two consecutive games, but the Ohio State rookie has also had more games with five runs or less than games with 10 or more.

The simplest yes of any backfield sibling organization is Wayne Gallman of the New York Giants because it’s 2020 and nothing makes more sense. He simply hit the Seattle Seahawks for 135 yards on 16 hauls, and the fourth-year professional is six. he’s aiming in his last six games.

Saquon who?

That leaves one place and two sides: Kenya’s Drake of the Arizona Cardinals and Myles Gaskin of the Miami Dolphins.

Drake has discovered the finish zone in three consecutive games, however, he has not totaled a hundred yards since Week 10 and faces a Giants defensive who has taken a step forward particularly in recent weeks. It’s close, but the big week of Gaskin 13 and the lack of intensity around him to the ball carrier in Miami sealed the deal.

The call: Wayne Gallman (DFS DraftKings Value: $5700), Jonathan Taylor (DFS DraftKings Value: $5800), Myles Gaskin (DFS DraftKings Value: $5600)

This fantastic manager might find it hard that he’s contemplating putting Kyler Murray on the Arizona Cardinals bench.

No, I don’t want to.

For the season, Murray is the top successful quarterback in NFL. com’s default Fantasy score, but the Redbirds fell as a team, largely because rival defenses did well by taking the race out of the sophomore career. beyond 4 weeks, Murray has achieved slightly the maximum of 10 callers.

After throwing 389 yards by air and three scores against the Cleveland Browns a week ago, Ryan Tannehill of the Tennessee Titans ranks twice as high in the same period. He also drew an elegant game in the five most sensitive for this week’s quarters. opposed to the unfortunate Jacksonville Jaguars, while Murray received the fifth worst game for the opposite position to the New York Giants.

That said, Tannehill’s last four lines of statistics showed explosions and blahs to the same extent. If the Titans take the lead, the part of the moment may only temporarily be Derrick Henry’s show.

Murray’s the call, but he’s close.

The flexibility factor is interesting: a ball-to-head bearer with a showdown at Chris Carson of the Seattle Seahawks in front of a high-end Calvin Ridley catcher of the Atlanta Falcons.

Carson is drawing a New York Jets team this week that ceded the 12th most PPR problems to the media, hasn’t taken the ball 20 times in a game this season and is recovering from injury. Ridley has released WR1 issues in 12 in the team leagues this season, facing a Los Angeles Chargers team that ceded the fourth fewer PPR issues to catchers.

It’s narrow, but I’m opposed to my same usual inclination of starting the back part in the bending domain here. Ridley’s roof is too smart to forget, as he only has one game with fewer than 14 PPR issues since Week 5.

The call: Kyler Murray (DFS DraftKings Value: $7,200), Calvin Ridley (DFS DraftKings Value: $7,500)

I can sense this problem of runners. But if they’re not smart choices, they’re not horrible either.

The first to leave is Nyheim Hines of the Indianapolis Colts. He has had his moments, but Jonathan Taylor’s rise in recent weeks has come at his expense. After just nine taps for 32 yards last week, he’s sitting down.

James White of the New England Patriots is too, and not just because the Pats have a terrible fight over the task with the Los Angeles Rams this week In last week’s brilliant victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, he hit three touches by a metre.

That’ll do.

That leaves Devontae Booker from Las Vegas Raiders. De done, I’m less than impressive in his first circular as leader of the Silver and Blacks a week ago, however, he had 17 touches against the New York Jets, and raiders head coach Jon Gruden, not positive earlier in the week. that Josh Jacobs would return to the box in week 14.

This workload wins the day, with Hines a Plan B if Jacobs leaves.

The quarterback’s office is near. Taysom Hill of the New Orleans Saints gets a special touch on his ability to run. Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers has accumulated more than 300 air yards in three of his last five games.

The kicker here is a game as the Steelers face off against a Buffalo Bills team that has the sixth-most fantasy problems in this season’s quarters.

It’s Big Ben.

The call: Devontae Booker (DFS DraftKings value: $5300), Ben Roethlisberger (DFS DraftKings value: $6700)

The first broker call here is as much as possible.

The Chicago Bears are surprised as a team, however, David is as hot as anyone else to go back to fantasy. Two weeks ago, he spent a hundred yards on the court in just 11 hauls. He has scored three touchdowns in the last two games and leads all offensive halfbacks on PPR issues during that period.

Throw in a fantastic, wonderful game with the Houston Texans, and it’s a must.

From there, get interesting.

David Johnson of the Texans has been a pass since the Houston floor game disappointed in 2020. The same goes for Diontae Johnson of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The year of the moment has been forged for fantasy coaches, but there are outstanding backing here that see more than 15 keys per week.

That brings us three runners for both places: Miles Sanders of the Philadelphia Eagles, Myles Gaskin of the Miami Dolphins and Chris Carson of the Seattle Seahawks.

At one point, Sanders would have been calling here, but the Philadelphia offensive is a disaster and the New Orleans Saints are one of the worst clashes for midfielders in 2020.

Gaskin is expected to be a major component of the Miami offensive opposed to the Kansas City Chiefs, at least until the scoreboard gets completely out of control. Carson is a fair bet for the finish area on Sunday, as Seattle is looking to recover against the unsealed New York Jets.

Start this duet with Monty.

The call: David (DFS DraftKings Value: $6,500), Myles Gaskin (DFS DraftKings Value: $5600), Chris Carson (DFS DraftKings Value: $6900)

The one with the ball carrier has been replacing throughout the season.

These two ball carriers play on crowded fields, and this uncertainty becomes trustworthy.

When the stage is good, Kareem Hunt of the Cleveland Browns has the merit of RB1, but it’s obviously Nick Chubb’s violin of the moment, and the Browns also face a Baltimore Ravens team that gives midfields the tenth least fantasy problems consistent with the game in 2020. .

Cam Akers of the Los Angeles Rams, meanwhile, is moving in the other direction. The rookie has touchdowns in the last two weeks, and last week, opposed to the Arizona Cardinals, he set a record 21 runs.

Akers is recovering from a shoulder injury, but that’s not expected for his prestige for Thursday’s game.

In the closed wing, the insertion of Jalen Hurts into the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback adds the threat of trusting Zach Ertz or Dallas Goedert in Week 14. Jordan Akins of the Houston Texans has an elegant game in the five most sensitive for closed wings with Chicago Bears on Sunday. , However, there are also all kinds of parties or hunger with less than 20 yards received in 4 of the last five games.

With Ertz returning from a long break, he rides with Goedert and expects Hurts to pass a little less opposed to the New Orleans Saints.

The call: Cam Akers (DFS DraftKings: $5,100), Dallas Goedert (DFS DraftKings value: $4,000)

Each of those broad receivers has some appeal for week 14.

For Antonio Brown of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the appeal lies mainly in his clash with a Minnesota Vikings team that ceded the fourth highest number of PPR problems to open receivers in 2020; however, he hasn’t even had 70 yards at reception in 2020. a game since joining the Buccaneers, and the last time he opposed the Kansas City Chiefs, he controlled two receptions for 11 yards.

Corey Davis of the Tennessee Titans had a better line of stats last week against the Cleveland Browns with 11 receptions for 182 yards and a score. It was his fourth 100-yard game of the season, but the 25-year-old also has three games with less than 40 yards.

Then Jamison Crowder of the New York Jets, came through the red door, spending a hundred yards in his first three games, but the veteran slot receiver has only 168 yards in the last five games combined and has not reached the milestone. century since week 5.

However, although Crowder had only five receptions for 47 yards last week in front of the Las Vegas Raiders, two of the catches were scored and this week, his Jets face a Seattle Seahawks team that has allowed the top PPR issues to catchers this season. across a wealthy margin.

This (and the lowest order value of the 3 this week in DraftKings) regulates it.

The Call: Jamison Crowder (DFS DraftKings Value: $5400)

We’ll finish this week 14 edition of Fantasy Start/Sit in the same way as usual: it’s time to get into the cockpit, turn on the afterburner and fly to the danger zone for quick flavor responses.

ksmith wants a receiver and a flexible option: “PpR League. Tee Higgins, Robert Woods or Cam Akers?”

Robert Woods of los Angeles Rams (DraftKings DFS value: $6,700) is a simple open receiver call. It is one of the 10 most sensitive open receivers of the season in PPR formats. At the turning point, the call is closer, however, I will double the Rams players with Cam Akers (DFS DraftKings Value: $5,100), which spent 20 races last week and is betting in the offensive crisis zone that is lately the Cincinnati Bengals.

Littrell has a ball dilemma: “Gus Edwards, Jamaal Williams and Raheem Mostert. Choose two. “

Only one of those players is the main runner on his team, so Raheem Mostert (DraftKings DFS value: $6,200) of the San Francisco 49ers is the first “yes” of the lot. Gus Edwards of the Baltimore Ravens and Jamaal Williams (DraftKings DFS Value: $6000) of the Green Bay Packers are complementary backfield options, the tie-break here is less about the back than the game. Williams and the Packers face the non-existent defense of the Detroit Lions.

Returning to Littrell for a selection among less than stellar quarterbacks: “[Andy] Dalton or [Mitchell] Trubisky?”

“None” is on the table? I’m joking because I care. These two quarterbacks have equally mediocre clashes with the Cincinnati Bengals and The Houston Texans, so the tiebreaker here is the offensive weapons that surround them. That gives Andy Dalton (DFS DraftKings Value: $5,500) of the Dallas Cowboys through a fair margin.

davemccarty is brutally fair about his flexible options: “[D Andre] Swift, [Chase] Edmonds or [Darius] Slayton. PPR flex. The last two suck, but that’s all I’ve got. League with 14 teams”.

We don’t know how many hauls Chase Edmonds of the Arizona Cardinals will have, so he’s out. It’s hard to accept it as true with the New York Giants catchers with Colt McCoy as quarterback, so Darius Slayton is also absent. The carrier Andre Swift (DraftKings DFS: $6,500) back in action (and trains), he is the simple call here in a difficult game with the Chicago Bears.

Back to the quarters with Shamser_Singh: “Philip Rivers or Matt Ryan?”

At first glance, this obviously favors Matt Ryan of the Atlanta Falcons, but over the next month, Philip Rivers (DraftKings DFS Value: $5900) of the Indianapolis Colts has been an elegant low-end QB1 in terms of gambling-consistent problems, while Ryan ranks slightly at the 30th most sensible in position. Launching a more sensible 10 game for callers and Rivers is the way to spend here.

paulsarcona has an envelope on the runner: “Miles Sanders or [J. D. ] McKissic?”

That’s where we’re with Miles Sanders of the Philadelphia Eagles given the unhappy state of their team’s offense No NFL team grants fewer PPR issues consistent with the game to offensive midfielders than the New Orleans Saints team traveling to Philadelphia at Week 14 JD McKissic (DraftKings DFS Value: $4900) is not the first on the Washington football team , however, he scores many goals in the aerial game with 31 in the last 4 games. It’s the most productive game on the rise here.

Finally, DeRozan wants flexible help: “Kareem Hunt or [Chase] Claypool?. 5 PPR”.

Chase Claypool (DFS DraftKings: $6,500) of the Pittsburgh Steelers has cooled lately The rookie team has 8 receptions for 90 yards in its last two games, but given the uncertainty of Kareem Hunt’s workload with the Cleveland Browns, the sensible thing to do is to gamble. in Claypool’s perspective and I hope the young sprinter will open up for a long time.
