Fantasy Football Week 4: Start, get down

As if the fantasy managers didn’t already have enough disorders.

As injuries continue to increase and many amateur fantasy players do not meet expectations, they have thrown us another curveball. As Erik Bacharach reported for Tennessean, the Tennessee Titans canceled all of the team’s activities on the user until at least Saturday and the NFL postponed Sunday’s game between them and the Pittsburgh Steelers after five teams of workers and 3 Titans players tested positive for COVID-19.

The hope is that the game will be played on Monday or Tuesday, but fantasy coaches will have to be prepared for the option that players like Derrick Henry and Ben Roethlisberger will not be available in Week 4.

This progression (and the cancellation of this week’s in-person activities for the Minnesota Vikings, which received Tennessee in Week 3) adds even more uncertainty to this week’s fantasy lists. And if your team is slowly coming out the door, the loss can simply create a gap for the Houston Texans from which it will be difficult to escape.

To help fantasy managers solve composition dilemmas in everyday and everyday leagues, I once asked about the Bleacher Report app that helps others delineate lineups that will allow (or maintain) their groups on the winning track.

So, whether it’s combing the cream from the crop on the comeback or sorting the scrap pile for a flexible option, let’s get to work.

We have reached a damaging turning point in the football season: the moment of panic.

Certainly, three weeks after the 2020 season, Joe Mixon of the Cincinnati Bengals was in fact a primary disappointment. Recruited in the first circular in more than a few leagues, he has not yet reached a hundred yards in a game or has discovered the finish area. He is ranked 36th on issues consistent with reception (PPR) among the offensive means of defence.

It’s not. . . It’s not great.

However, that shouldn’t be a big surprise. Mixon has developed a reputation as a slow beginner. Last year, he ranked 32nd among runners on PPR issues after the first 8 weeks of the season.

He finished the season and posted more than 1,400 total yards.

This is the time for the Mixon. Al less for 40 cents consistent with dollar. And that’s what this deal is.

Todd Gurley II of the Atlanta Falcons has more fantasy problems than Mixon right now, but he also has a career-consistent 4-yard average and has all 3 receptions. Leonard Fournette of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would possibly be the team’s most productive ball carrier. , but to date he has not upgraded Ronald Jones II as a shipowner base.

Mixon’s conversion things are bigger than the others, which makes this industry interesting.

The start/end of the stage is easy: Jerick McKinnon of the San Francisco 49ers is stuck, Raheem Mostert may be back this week, and the Niners face a Philadelphia Eagles team consisting of 3. 7 yards consistent with a run to offensive midfields.

Keep Mixon and throw the Jacksonville Jaguars at him.

The Call: Joe Mixon (DFS DraftKings Value: $5800)

OK, now I’m jealous Given the unhappy state of the ball carrier position at the top of my leagues, this is a challenge I wish I had.

The fact that the first position here is for an uns recruited rookie loose agent that no one had heard of six weeks ago shows what 2020 was like, but James Robinson of the Jacksonville Jaguars earned the spot.

In the last two weeks, he has driven more than a hundred yards in total. He discovered the finish area twice last week. He has an average of 4. 9 yards consistent with the race this season. And in Week 4, the Jaguars faced a Cincinnati Bengals team that yielded more than 180 yards consistent with the game on the ground.

That leaves room for two players: Jonathan Taylor of the Indianapolis Colts and Kenyan Drake of the Arizona Cardinals.

Taylor has been the highest productive to date in terms of fantasy: he ranks 15th in PPR problems among ball carriers with 261 total yards and a pair of touchdowns.

But while Drake didn’t live up to last year’s breakthrough in the first few weeks of the season, he has a much better game. The Carolina Panthers rank 21st in pre-race defense and have given up the highest fantasy number at the time. topics to partbacks this year.

It’s close, but Drake gets the nod to the place of the moment.

The call: James Robinson (DFS DraftKings: $6500), Kenyan Drake (DFS DraftKings value: $6,000)

If there’s a smart look here, at least the features you decide are generally solid. As we’ll see in a minute, this is not the case.

As a runner, one of the places has to pass to aspiring fantasy superstar James Robinson for the reasons already discussed. Assuming things happen according to the plan in Week 4, this will be the last time fantasy managers ask about the rookie.

In the future, it will be an early week.

The second position as the ball carrier belongs to Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders. The sophomore doesn’t have as favorable a game as Melvin Gordon III of the Denver Broncos, but it’s the focal point of the Raiders’ offense, and as Darrell Henderson Jr. of the Los Angeles Rams demonstrated last week, the Buffalo Bills can be had on the field.

ESPN open receiver Adam Schefter reported that Michael Thomas of the New Orleans Saints is contemplating a pass back to the area this week as opposed to the Detroit Lions. Assuming he plays, it’s almost more unlikely to sit down, a full workout this week would happen. a long way to allay fears that it might be in an instant account.

Kenny Golladay made his return from an injury last week opposed to the Arizona Cardinals, scoring a touchdown, but while Odell Beckham Jr. of the Cleveland Browns received a top student from the Dallas Cowboys who had just been set on fire through the Seattle Seahawks. Golladay attracted a Saints team that gave the sixth fewest PPR problems to open receivers.

The flexible point is for Gordon. La Denver offensive is a disaster right now, but the New York Jets are even worse. New York is ranked 24th in opposing-the-race defense and provides the fifth-highest number of PPR problems for offensive midfields. 2020.

The call: James Robinson (DFS DraftKings: $6500), Josh Jacobs (DFS DraftKings: $6800), Michael Thomas (DFS DraftKings: $7600), Odell Beckham Jr. (DFS DraftKings Value: $5800), Melvin Gordon II (DFS Value: $6900) )

See? I told them that everyone’s characteristics are as appropriate as those of this last group, but we have to play the hand that is distributed to us, so let’s move on to random reading.

N’Keal Harry of the New England Patriots is a simple “no. “Partly, it’s a matter of modest statistics: 15 receptions for 145 yards in three games this season. And in part, it’s a rotten and elegant game with Kansas City The Chiefs team that ranks last in issues given to open catchers this season.

Unfortunately, DeSean Jackson of the Philadelphia Eagles hasn’t been better this season with 10 receptions for 121 yards on a shaken team. The San Francisco 49ers are a better open-receiver game than the Chiefs, yet they are still located at the back of the league.

That leaves the Denver Broncos with a tight ending Noah Fant.

The Broncos were devastated by injuries, adding up to the loss of starting quarterback Drew Lock. But with Courtland Sutton out for the year, Fant is necessarily the number one open catcher in Denver heading to a Thursday night game with a New York Jets team that is defensively terrible in almost every single form imaginable.

The Call: Noah Fant (DFS DraftKings Value: $5800)

That’s where many coaches face all the injuries that have already ravaged the fantasy landscape, not to mention the postponement of the Pittsburgh Steelers-Tennessee Titans game and the possible devastation it could create.

Leonard Fournette of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers gave the impression that he was taking the lead in the backfield after spending a hundred yards on the court two weeks ago, but in the third week, he only had nine touchdowns (compared to 15 Ronald Jones II). and the 22 yards in total.

The Chicago Bears’ Anthony Miller discovered the goal zone last week for the time being, but the young wide receiver only had two catches and five goals in the game. With Kenny Golladay back for the Detroit Lions, Marvin Jones Jr. saw his goal percentage drop; had 3 looks in the game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Come in and out.

With James White back in the education box after joining the New England Patriots, he seems on his way to reclaiming his team’s return role. Jamison Crowder of the New York Jets is also expected to return to the fourth week after not having time with a thigh injury.

The last time we saw Crowder on the field, he put in seven passes for yards and a score in the first game of the season.

White and Crowder are the first two of this diversity of, unsused options.

The call: James White (DFS DraftKings: $5,200), Jamison Crowder (DFS DraftKings value: $5,200)

It has been a difficult season for many fantasy coaches as open receivers. Between injuries that hit the most sensitive of ranks and the big names that performed lower, many groups are already in stir mode.

Brandon Aiyuk of the San Francisco 49ers had a kind of evening last week in front of the New York Giants, catching five passes for 70 yards. The Philadelphia Eagles have been on open receivers this year, giving the tenth highest number of PPR problems for But Aiyuk remains a rookie catching passes from a replacement quarterback.

If this week were normal, Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings might be an attractive option, especially after their showdown with the Tennessee Titans last week, but the Vikings will face the Houston Texans on Sunday without much practice merit after the team canceled on personal activities due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Tennessee.

TYHilton of the Indianapolis Colts and DJ Moore of the Carolina Panthers were not up to their spots in the 2020 draft. Hilton has just 10 catches for 133 yards and Moore outscored through new teammate Robthrough Anderson. Neither had a smart game in Week 4, opposite the Chicago Bears and Arizona Cardinals, respectively.

But those are the group’s greatest attempts and trials, and Minnesota’s chaotic week makes Jefferson too difficult for this writer’s tastes.

The call: T. Y. Hilton (DFS DraftKings: $5300), D. J. Moore (DFS DraftKings Value: $5600)

Okay, at least it’s a little better.

In maximum weeks it would be a simple call. Terry McLaurin of the Washington football team is the number one undisputed in the country’s capital. And as the Kansas City Chiefs demonstrated last week, the Baltimore Ravens’ pass-through defensive is smart but not impenetrable.

But the Ravens were eliminated through Patrick Mahomes. And with all due respect to Dwayne Haskins Jr. , it’s not Patrick Mahomes. Washington also doesn’t have a secondary goal to take away McLaurin’s awning.

The lack of goals won through Marvin Jones Jr. of the Detroit Lions last week was already mentioned, and the same goes for the New Orleans Saints’ greed for catchers from a point of view.

That brings us to miami Dolphins sophomore Preston Williams, who has five receptions for 74 yards and a landing this year, numbers that don’t motivate much confidence.

And yet Williams is the game here.

The reason has much less to do with him than who the Dolphins play with. The Seattle Seahawks are a team with a wonderful passing game. But pass defense is bad. Really bad historically bad.

In the first three weeks of the 2020 campaign, the Seahawks allowed 1,292 yards per pass and maximum problems for open receivers across a wide margin.

Williams will have more fantasy problems on Sunday than he has this season.

Book.

The Call: Preston Williams (DFS DraftKings Value: $4500)

For starters, we could also learn about Chris Carson’s fitness for the Seattle Seahawks. The good news is he didn’t break any ligaments when his knee rolled up in a questionable game opposite the Dallas Cowboys last week.

The bad news is that Carson has a sprained knee and is unlikely to play the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, placing Carlos Hyde as Seattle leader in front of a team that only added 129 yards and two problems to James Robinson of the Jacksonville Jaguars. .

Assuming Carson’s out, Hyde gets one of the two options here.

Myles Gaskin of the Dolphins and Mark Ingram II of the Baltimore Ravens have a charm for Week 4.

But Ingram stores his paintings with rookie JKDobbins, Gaskin doesn’t get short-range or purpose-line paintings with the Dolphins, and has clashes with groups that rank the 20 most sensitive fantasy themes allowed to mediators this year: Washington football. (No. 21) for Ingram and the Seahawks (No. 27) for Gaskin.

Putting a lot of confidence in the Denver Broncos offense is enough to provoke a manager’s indigestion, however, Melvin Gordon III will see backlog opposing a New York Jets defense allowing more than 130 yards consistent with the game on. field.

The call: Melvin Gordon III (DFS DraftKings Value: $6900), Carlos Hyde (DFS DraftKings Value: $5300)

Well, look at the big spender!

In fact, there is something to say in favor of investing in an elite broker as a component of its DFS range. It is much less difficult to locate less expensive functions with a merit for the wide receiver.

And make no mistake: it’s the elite. Alvin Kamara of the New Orleans Saints, Ezekiel Elliott of the Dallas Cowboys and Dalvin Cook of the Minnesota Vikings are the top three career halves of the DraftKings, which are expected to play Week 4.

From a purely economic point of view, Cook is the guy to hang out with. At $7600, it’s the cheapest of the three. He also has the game as the Houston Texans are fourth in fantasy problems awarded to midfields this season.

But the Vikings’ lack of practice time this week is simply being worried enough to leave it out of the question.

Elliott is also absent. As it is, it has the worst game in the group, pitting the Cleveland Browns, who are giving up the ninth least behind them in 2020.

That leaves Kamara, who had a ridiculous start in 2020. No is only the most productive ball carrier in fantasy by a large margin in 3 weeks, but, as John Sigler pointed out to Saints Wire, only the wonderful Marshall Faulk in 2000 opened its doors. The season with a three-game streak in a row.

With 27 receptions for 285 yards and 3 touchdowns in the air, Kamara would be the fourth receiver open in PPR issues this year.

Start a game in the top 10 in opposition to the Detroit Lions and you’ll have the ingredients for a big day for Kamara in Week 4.

The call: Alvin Kamara (DFS DraftKings Value: $8,000)

Now it’s time to complete two-minute training and other application questions with speed and speed.

Fast fire mode. Here we go.

JKThompson is to help open receivers: “[Julian] Edelman, [Brandin] Cooks, Hunter Renfrow?I need 2. “

Given the seriousness of the Kansas City Chiefs offensive in Week 3, the New England Patriots will pass the ball more than the same out of necessity, so Julian Edelman (DraftKings DFS Value: $5700) is a forged game. Vegas Raiders is a good PPR game, but Brandin Cooks (DraftKings DFS Value: $4500) of the Houston Texans gets a high school Minnesota Vikings that allows the fourth highest number of fantasy problems for giant receivers.

For ChyTy, it’s a quarterback dilemma: “Dak Prescott or Josh Allen Week 4?”

Is he a humble bluff? In many scoring systems, Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys and Josh Allen (DFS DraftKings Value: $7,300) of the Buffalo Bills are two of the 3 most sensitive quarterbacks this season. Prescott has the most productive game opposed to the Cleveland Browns, but Allen is too hot to sit. Honestly, the smart game here is to buy one of those quarterbacks and get an update to another post.

teen wants flexible help: “[Allen] Lazard or [Michael] Gallup on flex?Half point PPR”

Allen Lazard of the Green Bay Packers had a massive game opposed to the New Orleans Saints, however, Davante Adams’ return monday night may decimate his target involvement. Michael Gallup (DFS DraftKings: $6,200) of the Cowboys most commonly invisible earlier last week, but hopefully, their game opposed the Seattle Seahawks without a mere coincidence. It’s close, but Gallup’s the move.

It’s time for Bobby_Rosseau to make a little help: “Choose a standard. [Zach] Ertz or [Noah] Fant?”

Zach Ertz (DFS DraftKings: $5,300) of the Philadephia Eagles has been disappointing this year, while Noah Fant of the Denver Broncos has not. But with Dallas Goedert and the Eagles all sorts of open-receiver shots, Ertz is expected to see a ton of goals Sunday in San Francisco. He also doesn’t have the quarterback disorders Fant had in Denver.

Timfry has something with the quarterback: “[Nick] Foles or [Baker] Mayfield?”

Isn’t that a possibility? Nick Foles of the Chicago Bears played pretty well after succeeding Mitchell Trubisky last week opposed to the Atlanta Falcons, however, he has a fourth game opposed to an Indianapolis Colts team that leads the NFL in general defense. Baker Mayfield (DFS DraftKings: $5800) Cleveland Browns, on the other hand, makes a Dallas Cowboys team give up the third-highest number of fantasy problems in the quarters.

Shea091 makes a decision between two wonderful Stars of Week Four for the runner: “Mike Davis or Darrell Henderson?”

Both Darrell Henderson Jr. (DFS DraftKings: $ 5,800) of the Los Angeles Rams and Mike Davis of the Carolina Panthers were great a week ago, totaling at least 90 yards and a landing each, but Henderson has the most productive game. of the fourth week. He faces a New York Giants team that gave the 10th highest number of PPR problems to midfielders.

Finally, JJX322 needs to opt for a defensive for Week 4: “Do the San Francisco 49ers or Tampa Bay Buccaneers start?”

The 49ers looked smart last week against the New York Giants despite injuries that devastated defensively, and the Philadelphia Eagles struggled on the offensive, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (DFS DraftKings Value: $3400) got a rookie quarterback (Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers) got their first road started on Sunday , and for more than two weeks, have become one of the most productive defenses in fantasy.
