FC Barcelona announced that its midfielder Gavi had signed a new contract on its official online website and its social media accounts on Friday afternoon in Catalonia.
“FC Barcelona and player Pablo Paez Gavira” Gavi “have concluded a new contract, and deserves to remain in the club until June 30, 2030,” the factor began.

Barca further described Gavi has having “character and drive in abundance”, which he combines with “great technique, defensive awareness and goalscoring ability”.
His nine goals so far in the senior ranks are testament to that latter quality, though Barca noted that it has “not all been plain sailing” for the 20-year-old.
That was a nod to the ACL rupture in November 2023 picked up on international duty for Spain, which kept Gavi sidelined for almost a year.
