The champion of the trophy, FC Porto, has played in the quarterfinals of the Portuguese Cup this six-year term, adding a 2-0 victory at the Vilar de Perdizes stadium, in a match played at the Municipal Stadium of Chaves.
But against an opponent of the army of the Portuguese Championship, the quarterback of national football, climbed the “drags” marked via André Franco (36 minutes) and Evanilson (65), to qualify for the next round of competition.
The dockers, distributors of the last two editions of the Portuguese Cup, travelled to Sporting Braga, Benfica and Portimonense, who also secured qualification in the next phase, while they are on the calendar for the quarter-finals.
