Turkish basketball club Fenerbahce Beko suffered an 87-79 loss to Virtus Segafredo Bologna on Thursday, while Turkish Airlines’ EuroLeague leader Real Madrid is on a 9-0 better run with a 99-75 win over ALBA Berlin.
Fenerbahce Beko suffered their fourth loss in a row after they were beaten by Virtus Segafredo Bologna in a Round 10 game in Italy.
The game was closed at the end of the second quarter when Virtus Segafredo Bologna led 46-44. But the Italian club widened the gap to Fenerbahce Beko in the third quarter, which ended 70-58.
Johnathan Motley, a Fenerbahce Beko center, produced 25 points to be the game’s top scorer.
The winning team, Virtus Segafredo Bologna, led through Tornike Shengelia and the Georgian striker accumulated 15 points.
Scottie Wilbekin drove in thirteen runs for the visitors and Nigel Hayes-Davis added 10 runs for Fenerbahce Beko. Motley, Wilbekin and Hayes-Davis were the Fenerbahce players who scored double figures.
Daniel Hackett, Italian guard for Virtus Segafredo Bologna, scored 14 points to help his team secure victory at home. Ognjen Dobric scored 11 and Devontae Cacok scored 10 points.
On matchday eleven, Fenerbahce Beko will face unbeaten leaders Real Madrid in Istanbul on November 30.
Fenerbahce Beko is in ninth place in the table after winning 10 games. Virtus Segafredo Bologna has a win-loss record of 7-3 to take third place.

The Spanish powerhouse beat German rival ALBA Berlin 99-75 for the last time on Thursday at the WiZink Center in Madrid.
Real Madrid’s Croatian forward Mario Hezonja was the game’s top scorer with 26 points.
Gabriele Procida, Italian point guard for ALBA Berlin, led his team with 14 points.
ALBA Berlin are at the bottom of the EuroLeague table after losing nine games in 10 rounds.
Real Madrid will visit Israel’s Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv on Nov. 28 in a rescheduled Round 6 game in Belgrade.
Their meeting was originally scheduled for November 2, but the meeting was postponed and its location replaced after the outbreak of fighting between Israel and Hamas in Gaza in October.
