Ferran Torres believes he can continue to contribute to number nine in Manchester City.
The 20-year-old scored his purpose as a striker in City’s 2-0 win over Newcastle on Boxing Day.
With Gabriel Jesús unavailable and Sergio Aguero leaving the bank, Torres has had a positive effect as an average striker.

Torres, who signed for Valencia for about 20 million pounds to upgrade to the Leroy Sané end, believes he can ease the burden of Aguero and Jesus this season if necessary.
“I’m (playing the forward) and I’m satisfied with today’s goal,” he said on the club’s official website. “I just have to keep running to keep scoring more goals.
“The manager at the break just looked for us to continue doing our job, locating the spaces and making the most of it.
