Our enthusiastic youngsters received an unforgettable gift when they were lucky enough to meet the players at the One Hotspur Junior Christmas at our school, Hotspur Way, on Monday.
Yves Bissouma, Ben Davies, Fraser Forster, Deki Kulusevski, Pape Matar Sarr, Manor Solomon, Heung-Min Son, Destiny Udogie, Guglielmo Vicario and Alfie Whiteman joined 60 supporters for a festive moment after training.
After greeting the youngsters, the players took part in a series of fun football activities, including football darts, penalty shootouts, target shooting, dribbling and one-on-one drills, all led by our World Football Development Coaches. Yves went into the purpose of taking on the animated penalty takers while Fraser ended up inside a giant snowball where he threw snowballs!
Then, as icing on the Christmas cake, the junior players gave away their signed products through the players as a souvenir of this day.
Stuart, Alex’s father, said: “Thank you so much for organising such a special occasion for the Juniors. I appreciate the fact that so many other people put in a lot of effort before and during the day to make sure everything went smoothly and it was a great pleasure for everyone who was lucky enough to be invited.
