Madonna High School will want a new head football coach for next season, as Troy Fetty announced his resignation from his position on Tuesday.
Fetty spent one season as head coach of the Blue Dons, going 6-4 last fall.
He was originally hired through Ted Arneault’s team last season, however, once Arneault left as Weir High’s manager, Fetty was promoted to head coach.
Fetty came to Madonna with a wealth of experience in several regional shows, including Brooke, Buckeye Local, Edison, and Weir High.
He released a report on his situation, saying in part that he had made the decision to pursue other opportunities that would more align with his career goals. This full one is posted as part of a tweet attached to this story.
Madonna and Bridgeport have training spots open for next season.
