Final Score of the Man United vs Newcastle: Result of the Premier League, statistics while Isak and Joelinton sink, sorry, Red Devils

Old Trafford, Manchester-Newcastle United reduced Manchester United in the first part, since they opened a 2-0 advantage before condemning Ruben Amorim to a defeat of the fifth League this month.

This is the first time United have suffered such a fate since September 1962 and they finished 2024 in 14th position in the Premier League, seven places above third-placed Ipswich. In the history of the competition, four teams that occupied this position in the standings at the beginning of the year were relegated at the end.

Eddie Howe’s visitors were swaggeringly excellent during the first half-hour, irrespective of whether they had to be or not. Alexander Isak continued a rich run of goalscoring form with his eighth goal in his past six Premier League outings when he headed home unchallenged from Lewis Hall’s fourth-minute cross.

There is even more defensive incompetence from Ruben Amorim’s 3 centre-backs as Joelinton pushed forward Anthony Gordon’s delivery.

It should have been worse for United as the otherwise excellent Sandro Tonali hit the post from close range after Isak botched a straightforward one-on-one. Joshua Zirkzee, a surprise starter for the Red Devils, was substituted in the 33rd minute to roars, catcalls and boos from the home fans, somewhat encapsulating the unedifying spectacle.

Kobbie Mainoo replaced Zirkzee and helped United to establish a war in the midfield in which they had been shattered until then. The English midfielder attended Casemiro after the error of Fabian Schar in the added time of the first part, but the Brazilian filled his lines.

United improved after the break as Harry Maguire headed Diogo Dalot’s cross post. Substitute Leny Yoro then conveyed a chance to the presentable header from a right corner with 16 minutes remaining.

If the relative improvement of the local team to avoid the general cave in the one announced in the first era in the high Maximum disturbing shops in football.

The former Sporting CP coach’s signature 3-4-3 formation does favours to some United players and not others. Matthijs de Ligt, Maguire and Lisandro Martinez should all enjoy playing in a defensive three, but they were made to look amateurish by the manner of both Newcastle goals.

There were square, old and ill-shaped pegs in the myriad holes in front of them. The suspended Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte were badly missed in a midfield. Marcus Rashford was back on the bench, seemingly never with a realistic hope of seeing the field. Even then, there was no need for Zirkzee’s gruesome ordeal.

After this unfortunate moment, Stretford’s end supported his besieged side, exploiting “Ruben Amorim’s red and white army!” It is a demonstration of a sufficiently admirable challenge, but is it the cycle so vertiginous and implacable in Old Trafford that we are a position in the bankruptcy of the siege mentality of the newest dawn? Typhoon Amorim predicts very well does not appear almost in a position to pass.

Manchester United played 3 consecutive games at home for the first time since 1962. It seemed a humiliation and at least stabilized the shipment after the break, with a shot by Harry Maguire to the post. But the first part was as bad as you can imagine in terms of abject incompetence. Newcastle followers have just enjoyed a well -deserved birthday party in front of their noisy itinerant followers. They played brilliantly during the first part and right now you can be a bit below the brilliance to make your way with this United team. Thanks for accompanying us.

90 min: 3 min will be added. Nail a fork on it.

85 minutes: Barnes and Willock update Murphy and Gordon who played key roles in this Newcastle performance.

83 mins: Big Old Lots of dumbfounded stupidity in the Newcastle area. Eriksen hits a volley, but the offside flag is already in place. Antony comes looking for Ligt and a group of house enthusiasts take this as a sign for him to leave.

81 minutes: Antony arrives. Marcus Rashford still has a great coat. I also and I feel like a similar possibility that it is a kick right now at this time.

78 minutes: it has become an apathetic trid. Newcastle is quite satisfied to solve the ball opposite to a united appearance that, without Bruno Fernandes, does not have the abdomen to locate a way through an open game.

74 minutes: luck for United while Yoro gets up to find a right corner and look widely at him. The young Frenchman has probably left him aside.

71 mins: A poor clearance from Dubravka interrupts a string of Newcastle “oles”. Amad gets into the area but the excellent Guimaraes is there to block. He tends to be everywhere.

64 mins: Hall’s in-swinger is cleared by De Ligt. Double change for United as Garnacho and Yoro replace Casemiro and Martinez.

63 mins: Dalot fouls the waspish Gordon. Newcastle free-kick deep down the United left.

61 mins: Burn is forced to make a meaty tackle on Hojlund. Newcastle needn’t be involved in a game anymore but they absolutely are now. They get some respite as Martinez clatters through Isak to earn fairly stupid booking.

59 mins: Head tennis in he Newcastle box after a Dalot long throw. Last-ditch block to deny Mainoo! United come again, Old Trafford cranking up. Now Dalot with the ball at his feet, Maguire heads against the post!

58 mins: Trippier gets back to keep help repel a Dalot cross and that’s his last act as Livramento enters the fray.

55 mins: United continue to poke and prod in midfield. They’ve looked better since Mainoo has given them numerical equality in there. It makes Amorim’s wonky starting XI seem all the more curious. Tino Livramento might be coming on soon. Trippier is down.

52 mins: Decent position for Casemiro but he plonks a cross with the outside of his boot into Dubravka’s gloves. Not now, mate.

50 mins: Schar clears under pressure from Hojlund and it’s a good start to the second half for United. The corner is a bit wobbly, but Newcastle is possibly a minor inconvenience.

We are in progress. No other changes. Newcastle will be out of sight. Can Man United make them pay?

A few boos greet the whistle. Largely mute befuddlement across most of Old Trafford. Then the Stretford End start chanting “Amorim’s Red and White Army!”. All very laudable but are we really at the siege mentality of this new era already? Newcastle should be comfortably further ahead than 2-0 and that Casemiro miss a few moments ago shows they could still pay for playing with their food. See you in a few moments.

45 mins 1: Oh, United score a goal!  Schar gives possession, Mainoo is exposed in goal, slips a pass to Casemiro . . . who shoots a shot far from the far post. The Brazilian seems upset that he was given the ball, as if expecting Mainoo to shoot.

45 min: There will be 3 minutes of added time.

41 mins: Amad has some green grass to run into but Hall closes the door emphatically.

39 minutes: Guimares and Isak get their way with United that they need. A well-timed boot from Casemiro interrupted them this time.

34 mins: A Manchester United chance, Martinez lofts a lovely ball forward for Hojlund down the left channel. He fires just wide of the far post.

33 mins: A tactical change from United. Zirkzee is hooked and Mainoo comes on. The Old Trafford crowd rises to huge cheers before booing the Dutchman as he leaves. Ooooofff. Brutal.

31 mins: Guimares scythes through United again, now Gordon. TONALI HITS THE POST FROM CLOSE RANGE! Newcastle should be completely out of sight.

30 minutes: inexplicably, they are short, but they are still located with a lot of area to cross.   Dan Burn makes three!  The ball then returns to Isak, who moves delightfully in the skylight, but is offside.

29 minutes: Burn left Amad in a pile. “Play,” the referee said. Guimaraes advances and is Newcastle’s corner.

27 minutes: The United goalkeeper takes his defense out of the equation and hits Trippier’s corner behind. This time Trippier tries his luck in an Olympic. My word, it’s not far. Again. Yeah.

26 mins: Newcastle should concede possession but there’s no United player in the same postcode as the second ball. Hall unleashes a rasper that Onana holds. Newcastle have the ball straight back. Good heavens. Tonali’s shot is deflected behind. Onana was screwed if that was on target.

24 mins: Zirkzee on the edge of the D duffs a pass straight to Hall. Howls of anguish in the stands. The Dutchman has been woeful so far but he’s not alone.

19 minutes: GOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL!!!!! Joelinton 19′

Just preposterously easy. United have three centre-backs and have conceded from two routine crosses. Gordon stands one up from the left and Joelinton powers over Martinez to head home.

17 mins: Eriksen into a promising position approaching the Newcastle box. He’s ransacked by Guimaraes… who launches a fabulous ball over the top. Isak is in on goal and completely duffs his chipped finish! Should be 2-0. United look a complete rabble.

14 mins: Murphy in from the right to Gordon, who volleys over with the angle against bim at the far post. At the moment, it feels like the only danger to Newcastle is potentially their own complacency at how staggeringly easy this is.

12 minutes: Isak beats some United defenders before his shot is blocked. Newcastle have ownership in the attacking third. At this rate, it may just be a general failure.

11 mins: Here it is! Gordon leaves Mazraoui for dust, De Ligt blocks his cross and Joelinton clatters over.

10 mins: It’s men against boys, or men against old men, in that midfield at the moment. Joelinton strides forward, Murphy’s cross isn’t the best but it feels like the next chance will be along soon.

6 minutes: the goal stands. Double joy to my right at the outer end.

4 mins: GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!! Alexander Isak!!!!!!

Newcastle settled much faster and much more authorized. The result is the Lewis Hall Cross from the left that helps to keep the house emerging. It is verified for opposite game to find.

2 mins: Guimaraes looks to slip a ball in to Murphy down the right flank. Dalot gets back quickly, if a little untidily, to do the job.

Isak makes us faint and run. The course to Stretford ended in the first half.

5 minutes before start: they are in the tunnel. The familiar Old Trafford strains of “this is the one” through the stone roses. Here they are. . .

20 mins before kickoff: There’s quite the contrast in the warmups at Old Trafford. Newcastle are going through the usual repertoire of rondos, keep-ball, some sprints and stretches. Manchester United, on the other hand, have been doing some very specific positional work with the defensive line about 30 yards from goal and the attackers trying to play through them. Then, the full complement of players practiced defending wide free-kicks. Corners have been an issue for the Red Devils of late, but it was still a pretty unusual thing to witness.

On an entire United team, practice protecting the part as a component of heating. I haven’t noticed that antes. pic. twitter. com/fjcfj0qfzw

40 mins before kickoff: Amorim is keeping his cards close to his chest regarding Rashford’s return, although his exchange with Gary Neville on Sky Sports was hardly Frost/Nixon. “Selection, and we have a lot of players out,” he said. “Like I said, every week, I choose my players, and he was there to be chosen.” With Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte suspended alongside United’s customarily weighty injury list, has Rashford just been picked as a means of filling out the bench? I guess we’ll find out over the next couple of hours.

1 HR 10 minutes before the start: For Newcastle, Eddie Howe resists the temptation to replace the team that touched the 3-0 Aston Villa. Among the substitutes are Harvey Barnes and Tino Livramento.

1 hour and 15 minutes before the start: this is the United team. Rashford is fine and in fact on the bench. There are four changes of the team that lost 2-0 against the Wolves, with Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee each starting in attack.

1 hr 20 mins before kickoff: It’s been a dispiriting couple of weeks for United, who have lost three in a row since their dramatic derby victory over Manchester City on December 15. In his programme notes, Ruben Amorim has doubled down on his conviction that there are brighter days ahead.

What I can say for sure is that it will take time, but we got better. I have no doubts about that. This era will last forever.

When I took this job, I knew I was signing myself into a lot of boxes. If we need to make the long-term adjustments that we need to make at Manchester United, then we have to do it step by step. Looking to implement a new way of playing at this busiest time of year, so there are short term costs. I will say that players have a hard time coping with and using all the new data and commands they get. do this, the less difficult it will be for them, and then comfort and confidence in our game will grow.

I’ve noticed enough in recent weeks to recognize that we have a lot of ingredients that we want to succeed in and I remain as confident as I was on the first day here that we are going to achieve it. In the meantime, it is my duty to remain calm and all remain united in this time of change.

1 hour and 40 minutes before the start: the main rumors in the press room of Old Trafford Center on Marcus Rashford. The English striker arrived at the Stadium with the United team and is said to be involved in the team for the first time from the United Europa League against Viktoria Plzen on December 12.

2 hours before the start.   Hello and welcome to News News’ live Manchester United vs Newcastle politics. Will this be the afternoon in which Rubén Amorim’s typhoon forecast will pass?Well, it’s going to be a rainy afternoon at Old Trafford.

This Premier League match begins in Manchester at 8 p. m. time.

This is how this era for some of the main territories:

Bruno Fernandes’ red card at Wolves changed the course of the game and means the United captain is banned for this fixture. Manuel Ugarte is also missing due to a suspension, forcing Amorim to field Casemiro and Christian Eriksen in a central midfield two that appears to lack legs.

Mason Mount won’t return from his latest injury until at least January, while there is still no word on when Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof will be available. Matthijs de Ligt has been struggling with illness but completes the back three with Harry Maguire and captain-for-the-night Lisandro Martinez.

We can say that the biggest novelty in the team is one of the substitutes, where Marcus Rashford appears in a United Match team for the first time since December 12.

Man United (3-4-3, right to left): Onana (GK) — Maguire, De Ligt, Martinez — Mazraoui, Casemiro, Eriksen, Dalot — Amad, Hojlund, Zirkzee

Man United Substitutes: Bayindir, Rashford, Malacia, Yoro, Garnacho, Antony, Mainoo, Collyer, Kukonki

Newcastle are still without goalkeeper Nick Pope and defenders Sven Botman, Jamaal Lascelles and Emil Krafth, but all 3 are on course to return to action early in the new year. Forward Callum Wilson is also still out.

Tino Livramento missed the win against Villa due to illness, but is likely to return to Old Trafford. Harvey Barnes and Joe Willock are characteristics to succeed in Howwe’s lineup if he needs to rotate to keep the team fresh.
