Luiz Eduardo Baptista, conhecido como Bap, foi eleito presidente do Flamengo após votação que aconteceu nesta segunda-feira (9/12). A Chapa Azul (Raça, Amor e Paixão, do empresário, venceu o pleito desta segunda-feira (09/12) com 1.731 votos. A posse será para o triênio 2025/2027 feita no dia 18 de dezembro. O vice dele será Flávio Willeman.
O período de votação aconteceu de 8h (de Brasília) às 21h, na Gávea. A vitória de Bap, da oposição, impede o terceiro mandato seguido do grupo que compõe a chapa roxa, liderada pelo atual vice-presidente, Rodrigo Dunshee, e apoiada pelo atual presidente, Rodolfo Landim.
A chapa da situação ficou com 1.166 votos. A chapa amarela, de Maurício Gomes de Mattos, terminou com 363 votos. A eleição tinha três chapas na disputa.
