Florida football coach Dan Mullen tested for COVID-19

Florida coach Dan Mullen has joined the developing list of school football coaches who conducted COVID-19 tests.

Mullen announced the news on Twitter.

“Thank you Gator Nation for the whole show this week. Fortunately, all those affected are recovering well and have had mild or non-existent symptoms. I also tested positive for COVID and learned that my check had been confirmed. I continue” to isolate myself from my fitness family, and I adhere to all the rules set forth through UF Health, the CDC and our public fitness officials. Mullen’s tweet came hours after Alabama announced that coach Nick Saban, who had first tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, had passed several checks, all negative, and would be offside by Crimson’s game opposite Georgia. The result of his negative control came here from an outdoor lab.
