flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, celebrated its third anniversary of operations in Salzburg, Austria.
flydubai, the first national airline of the United Arab Emirates to offer direct flights between Dubai and Salzburg with its inaugural flight at Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Airport (SZG) on July 15, 2021.
Lately, the airline operates a four-times-weekly service to Salzburg. Located on the border between Germany and Austria, Salzburg Airport is also the second-largest airport in Austria and serves as the gateway to the famous Ski Amadé region.
In recent years, flydubai has carried more than 100,000 passengers between Dubai and Salzburg, demonstrating strong demand.
Hamad Obaidalla, commercial director of flydubai, said: “At flydubai, we are committed to exploring expansion opportunities, removing barriers to create loose flows in industry and tourism, and gaining better connectivity between other cultures; while also offering convenient features for passengers from all over the world. our ever-expanding network.
