MUNICH (AP) – Germany’s champion Bayern Munich remained in the Bundesliga’s most sensitive place after keeping his closest rival, RB Leipzig, in an exciting 3–3 home draw, with Thomas Mueller scoring twice at a frantic festival on Saturday.
The result left Bayern with 23 problems in 10 matches, two more than Leipzig and 4 in front of third-placed Borussia Dortmund and fourth-placed Bayer Leverkusen.
Christopher Nkunku fired Leipzig before Jamal Musiala, 17, and Bayern’s mainstay Mueller changed course, but Justin Kluivert controlled to match in the first half of a rollercoa.
Leipzig seemed the top winner probably after Emil Forsberg made the 3-2 in the 48th minute, but Mueller pushed a headbutt in the 75th minute to leave Bayern in the league (written through Zoran Milosavljevic; Edited through Clare Fallon)
