The Intercolegial College League announced Monday that the six-player, six-player, six-player Class 1A Division II championship between Balmorhea and Richland Springs was postponed.
The set programmed to take position at 11 a. m. Wednesday at AT Stadium
According to the UIL Football Playoff Information Manual, if one or any of the groups are not able to play in the state championship game due to COVID-19, groups will be able to reschedule matches on a site we decided through schools and gambling. It is expected to be completed until January 16.
It is Balmorhea’s first appearance at the state championship since 2017. Richland Springs, trained by former Stanton coach Jerry Burkhart, is looking for his ninth state name and consecutive moment.
