MADRID – Goals from Vinicius Jr. and Karim Benzema and a couple of Thibaut Courtois tackles gave Real Madrid a 2-0 win over Levante on Sunday for their third consecutive la Liga victory.
Brazilian striker Vinicius, madrid’s lace winner in Wednesday’s 1-0 win over Real Valladolid, also gave his team the lead in the Levante, controlling a loose ball in the area and taking his time to snuggle up in the furthest corner in the 16th minute. .
Madrid missed a number of opportunities to increase its advantage, but had to rely on some other notable functionality of goalkeeper Courtois to claim victory, before Benzema added its purpose for the time being in extra time at halftime.
