The 35-year-old former Frenchman has spent the last three years at Istanbul Basaksehir and helped them win their first name last season.
He then saw education for the fifth-tier French team, Thonon Evian, after ending his contract in Turkey.
But now Arsenal’s former left-back is about to sign for Servette, the boys in the basement of the Swiss Super League, of which Senderos is the sporting director.
Clichy told the club’s website: “It’s an emotion to make a sign for Servette.
“It’s an exciting challenge and I hope to bring my joy and give it my all on the field to the club’s progress. “
“I’ve been with the band for a few weeks. I look forward to dressing up in the club’s colors as soon as possible. “
Senderos, also 35, revealed his enthusiasm for the move and added: “He will bring his delight from the point to an organization in which it is already very well integrated.
“Your wisdom of the needs of the point will make our younger players gain advantages from their leadership. “
Clichy made 325 appearances for the Gunners, three Premier League titles.
He was also part of Arsenal’s invincible era from 2003 to 2004.
He then made a 7 million-pound move to Manchester City, where the left-back won two more Premier League titles and two Roberto Mancini league cups before receiving the punch in 2017.
Senderos played with him after joining Arsenal in 2003 and spending seven years at the club.
