Former Bolton Wanderers defender Nicky Hunt said he is “still sore” and “on his way to recovery” and thanked others for his messages after returning home from a head injury.
The 37-year-old was knocked out after a collision with an opposing player in preparation for boston United’s purpose of the time in the 87th minute of Tuesday night’s North National League game while playing for Darlington.
