16 Sep (Reuters) – Serbian defender Branislav Ivanovic says he has a lot to offer West Bromwich Albion after the 36-year-old loose agent joined the promoted Premier League team on a one-season contract.
Ivanovic made more than 350 appearances for Chelsea and won primary titles with the London club before leaving for Russian club Zenit Saint Petersburg in 2017.
He returned to England’s elite as Slaven Bilic’s sixth signing from West Brom, following the arrivals of Grady Diangana, Matheus Pereira, Cedric Kipre, David Button and Callum Robinson.
“I’m so pleased to be back,” Ivanovic told West Brom’s website.
“I’ve known Slaven before. It is, and I hope we make it together. He understands football and he looks like a guy everyone needs to play for.
“I missed the English footballArray. It seemed like I came back the year before, but that didn’t happen, so now I’m happy to be here and I’ll do my best. I can give anything else, absolutely otherArray. . I’m in a position for the challenge. “
Ivanovic’s arrival is a seasoning for West Brom, which conceded 3 unanswered goals in the Premier League defeat to Leicester City on Sunday.
