West Brom has shown the signing of veteran defender Branislav Ivanovic on a one-year contract.
Chelsea’s formerdefensa has joined the newly promoted team after spending the last three seasons with Russian Zenit St Petersburg.
Ivanovic, 36, expressed his joy at returning to the Premier League, where he played for Chelsea during the seasons between 2007 and 2017.
“The Premier League is the league of the world,” said Ivanovic, who will use the number 20 for the Hawthorns, to West Brom’s official website.
“I want to challenge myself and I’m in a position for the challenge. I am pleased to play again in the Premier League. I hope to succeed here.
“I have a lot of ambition and I need to do a lot of things. I’ll give it my all for the team. “
Under Slaven Bilic, West Brom was promoted to the Premier League upon completing the league moment last season, 10 issues from champion Leeds United.

At the level, Ivanovic won 105 matches with Serbia and played at the 2010 and 2018 World Cups.
