Twenty-five other women reported being sexually harassed while running for the Washington football team, and the team’s owner accused Dan Snyder of trying to convince her friend in a hotel room.
In an article published Wednesday through The Washington Post, former cheerleader Tiffany Bacon Scourthrough said Snyder had asked her on a 2004 charity occasion to meet her friend in the room so that the two “could get to know each other better.”
A Post report last month said 15 women had verified that a culture of sexual abuse surrounded the team, but Scourby, among the new women’s organization that was introduced, is the first to involve Snyder.
The accusations in the original report, which ran from 2006 to 2019, basically come with misplaced sexual commentary, unwanted innuendo and tension to wear revealing clothing.
On July 17, Snyder issued a statement in which the story “strengthened my commitment to building a new culture and popular for our team, a procedure that began with the hiring of Coach (Ron) Rivera before this year.”
Some of the 25 women said they should talk now because Snyder’s reaction angered them and several of them, The Post reported, pointed the finger at the executive sequel.
“Many women who have advanced in recent weeks with accusations of harassment have referred to former executives named in the Post’s previous report: Alex Santos, the recently dismissed director of professional staff; (Larry) Michael, the club’s longtime radio voice and senior vice president, who retired last month; Dennis Greene, former chairman of advertising operations, who left in 2018 amid accusations that he sold access to pornists; and Mitch Gershman, a former operating leader, who left in 2015, reads in Wednesday’s history.
Santos and Gershman declined to comment on the newspaper and Greene responded to requests for comments.
The Post’s most recent report also stated that Michael had ordered him to make a video for Snyder appearing “obscene shots” of the film for the team’s 2008 porr costume calendar.
Michael denied the report, but Brad Baker, a former member of the team’s broadcast team, said it was true.
“Larry said something like this: ‘We have a special task that we want to present for the owner today.He wants us to get the right parts of the video behind the scenes of the cheerleader filming on a DVD for him, ” said Baker.
The franchise has a low season of turmoil.

Last week, Washington appointed Jason Wright to chair the team.
