Former Frenchdefensa Gael Clichy has signed with Swiss club Servette, where his Arsenal teammate Philippe Senderos is the club’s sporting director.
The Geneva-based team announced that 35-year-old Clichy had signed a contract until June 2022 and joined a team that is lately in the back of the 10-team Swiss Super League with only one win in 8 games.
Clichy was able to point servette out an official movement window as a loose agent after his contract at Istanbul Basaksehir expired this summer after helping the Turkish team win their first league title.
