Former Real Madrid star Eden Hazard has been candid about his lack of football, a month after retiring, admitting he was “not playing anymore”, referring to his final months at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Hazard, who has been the most beloved player in Real Madrid’s history lately, reached an agreement to terminate his contract with the club a year early this summer. But having failed to find an interesting project, he ended his career a few months later.
The former Chelsea striker asked about life on TNT Sports, as reported by Diario AS.
“It’s the best. I enjoy life and the circle of family members with children. I can do what I need to do and it’s a much better life. The resolution was simple. In life, you can’t do everything. I’m at peace with myself. Now I’m happy. I have so many things to do outside of football that I was able to make a calm resolution.

Hazard explained that his decision was due to the fact that he was no longer laughing at his work.
“I watch football on TV when I can. I also do other things, but at the moment I don’t miss football. We’ll see in a few months. I had said I would stop playing as soon as I stopped laughing. “in the field. I didn’t need to go anywhere else to get the money. It was the most productive solution. I didn’t like running out of money anymore. . . And he didn’t play anymore.
It’s easy to see how a player who has enough money and has accomplished a lot in his career can be disappointed with the trendy game. Footballers are constantly in the public eye, rarely at home for more than a week at the highest level, and scrutinised in their every move.
