Former Tottenham Hotspur and Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm announced his retirement from the game on Monday, ending his 15-year career.
Vorm, 37, raced at Dutch club Utrecht in 2005 before moving to Swansea in 2011, where he won the League Cup.
The former Dutch foreigner spent six seasons with the Spurs, basically as a replacement for Hugo Lloris, before leaving the North London club when his contract expired last season.
“I have to withdraw from professional football,” Vorm said on Instagram https://www. instagram. com/p/CGz3fznAjs_. “I am grateful to play for all those clubs and honored to have been able to set up my country in foreign tournaments. “(Report via Manasi Pathak in Chennai, edited through Pritha Sarkar)
