SAN ANTONIO (July 20, 2020) – The San Antonio Spurs today announced that FOX Sports Southwest (FSSW) will host the team’s last 8 games of the regular season locally, as well as a scrum on July 28 against the Indiana Pacers. The Spurs are scheduled to restart the 2019-2020 season on July 31 as opposed to the Sacramento Kings at Walt Disney World World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando, Florida.
Throughout the reboot, the NBA will provide unique viewing and sound angles to decorate visual delight with each stream. Spurs enthusiasts are encouraged to follow through the Spurs app streams to challenge other enthusiasts in quizzes and predictive games.
In his 17th season with the streaming team, Bill Land will manage the game through the game in an internal remote setup of the San Antonio AT-T Center, along with former Spur analyst and veteran Sean Elliott. Dan Weiss will continue his season of moments as the studio’s lead animator and will join through Spur’s former Matt Bonner.
Each FSSW regular season program will come with 30-minute “Spurs Live” broadcasts before and after the game. All FSSW games will be broadcast live via FOX Sports GO. The FOX Sports GO app is available lately on mobile devices and tablets, adding iOS and Android, as well as FOXSportsGO.com. FOX Sports GO is also available on connected devices, adding Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Roku and Roku TV players and Xbox One. FSSW has been broadcasting Spur games since 1987.
All Spurs games can be heard on WOAI-AM 1200 and in Spanish on KXTN AM-1350 and 107.5 FM HD2. The 2019–20 Spurs season is through H-E-B.
