Chelsea have already made plans for next season following the signings of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, and are expected to reach more of West London.
Lampard saw the season proudly and promised that the Blues would do everything they could to keep moving forward.
“I look at things,” Lampard told Chelsea’s official online website during the 2019/20 season.
“I do it every single night, I’m there and I compare things. I think walking away from football now for about a week will help you think, we can recharge and cool off. But I’m already thinking about the rest of the season.
“I’m thinking about where we want to go and how we want to improve. This match [against Bayern] showed that we can compete, the young players, but it also underlines the paintings that we still have to do. At the point we want to win.
“I myself have been there as a player. I participate in Champions League matches and realize how best the point is, and it’s based on how you react to the reports and how you come back. In fact, I’ll be on the players who deserve not to forget when we leave, but I must say I’m proud of the effort and solidarity they’ve shown this season.
“I think a lot of other people would have ruled us out this year. When you think of the Chelsea eras that have just disappeared, the main dangers, Drogbas, Terrys and Cechs, this year seemed different and the players fought for everything.” Training
