Chelsea manager Frank Lampard survived a possible nightmare in a 0-0 draw with Tottenham. The Blues went to Sunday’s game knowing that a victory would put them in the most sensible position in the standings.
But they face a complicated set with Jose Mourinho’s team that is difficult to break.
Chelsea had their chance with Mason Mount testing Hugo Lloris from a distance, while Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud squandered possibilities.
However, the draw and white space help maintain Chelsea’s impressive unbeathed streak.
And more for Lampard is that his appearance escaped without serious injury.

There is some fear in the moment that Ben Chilwell fell.
England miscalculated his ankle and required medical attention for a few minutes.
But Chilwell has been able to end the attack and has now shown that the challenge is not serious.
“I am desperate to keep going and luckily I made it,” Chilwell told the Chelsea club’s official website.

Chelsea has had two problems with co-leader Liverpool and Tottenham lately.
And Chilwell suggests that the opposite point to the Spurs may turn out at the end of the season.
“I don’t know if it was a laugh to watch, but I found it entertaining in the box because they were two smart groups that were tactically very smart that day,” he added.
“I would have liked us to win the match at Stamford Bridge against our rivals, but for me and the rest of the defense, the blank blade is vital to moving on.
“We are satisfied with a blank blade in front of a wonderful strike force like theirs, because we know how they are.
“Kane and Son are very clinical in the long run and the matchmaking game between them is very good, so we are happy to cancel them both.
“When you fight for the top, you don’t need to give them trouble and they don’t need to give you trouble.
“We wanted to win, but we’ll win the tie; we have to be satisfied with that. “
