Chelsea are expected to upgrade West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, which could bring their summer spending to more than 250 million pounds.
The 21-year-old had already been connected to a 65 million-pound move to Stamford Bridge this year, with Blues boss Frank Lampard proceeding to review his team for the 2020-21 Premier League campaign.
If Rice with Chelsea, he will be added to his list of new recruits, adding Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Hakim Ziyech and Thiago Silva.
