Frank Leboeuf is convinced through Frank Lampard’s Chelsea but praises two players after Crystal Palace’s hard-hitting victory

Frank Leboeuf insists he is still “un convinced” through Frank Lampard’s Chelsea despite his entic victory over Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

The summer signing, Ben Chilwell, scored and gave a hand when the Blues beat their London rivals Palace 4-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Kurt Zouma and Jorginho were also on their way to Lampard’s team, with new recruit Edouard Mendy keeping a blank sheet after he decided before signing Chelsea’s record, Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Despite the hard-hitting victory, former Chelsea star Leboeuf is still unconfidented through the team and says Lampard’s team still has a lot to do.

French legend, however, featured Thiago Silva and Zouma for their praise, and their central partnership worked.

When asked to assess Chelsea’s opposition to the Palace, Leboeuf told ESPN, “Let’s say, a serious one.

“I am satisfied with Thiago Silva, he had a match and with Zouma it worked.

‘But it’s hard to judge Chelsea when you have a Crystal Palace team that has talented players but doesn’t attack. They didn’t play.

“Chelsea were serious and did what they had to do. I’m still not convinced of what Frank needs to do with this team because they’re not ready. “

“[Christian] Pulisic has just returned, we are still waiting for [Hakim] Ziyech and some of the others. So the team isn’t ready, we’ll need a little more time to judge them.

“But it’s smart to win and pretty good too. I’m satisfied with Frank and the team, but there are still a lot of paintings to be done. “

Lampard for his patience after Chelsea’s victory over Crystal Palace. The Blues spent 220 million pounds this summer in reaction to last year’s movement ban.

“There are a lot of reactionary things about our expectations,” Chelsea’s manager told BBC Sport.

“I think the others stay calm, that’s how I have to be, I can’t let them catch me. It is my task not to be reactionary and not to be too disappointed or depressed.

“They gave us a lot of credit for our fourth position [last season] and we’re not going to go from there to a hundred instantly.

“We’re a picture in progress, I’m willing to do it, just like the players. “
