The irritated Frankie Boyle has criticised at the expense of Celtic’s board and Peter Lawwell amid the fury of Parkhead’s fan base.
Brendan Rodgers’ side were met with a livid reaction from the away side in Pittodrie following the 1-1 draw with Aberdeen; however, the ultimate anger was reserved for the Parkhead hierarchy with chants of “back to the table” echoing after a quiet window of movement. . . who only saw Adam Idah and Nicolas Kuhn walk through the door. And comedian Boyle has aimed a cheeky swipe at the Celtic Park board and chairman Peter Lawwell following the draw in the Granite City.
The die-hard Celtic fan pleaded with the creators of the Championship Manager game series if they could create a new category based on Glasgow East’s spending behaviour. Posting on X, Boyle wrote: “There will be a Peter Lawwell difficulty setting in Championship Manager where you have to generate 20 million sales to get a loan. “
