Fred is convinced that Manchester United can undo the risk posed by Jamie Vardy in his quest to qualify for the Champions League.
United heads to the final round of Premier League matches on Sunday to avoid defeating Leicester and secure a spot in the top four, with clubs lately third and fifth in the table respectively.
In Vardy, the Foxes have the division’s top scorer for the 2019–20 season, with the 33-year-old scoring 23 this season.

United midfielder Fred said of Vardy, who has scored four goals in his last five appearances, in dating on the club’s official website: “He’s the most sensible goalscorer by chance.
“So we have to rescind his threat. He’s a very sensible player and he’s having a wonderful season.”
“We have to be very careful with him. He’s a very smart player, we have to think about his threat purpose, but we have very smart players in defense who have to cancel it.”
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United, last defeated in the Premier League in January, broke into Champions League goals this week after drawing 1–1 with West Ham while Leicester was away.

After a very good start to the season, Brendan Rodgers’ men struggled towards the end, winning only two of the 8 league games since the crusade resumed in June.
Regarding Leicester, Fred said: “They are a wonderful team and they did well.
“For a while they competed in the most sensible of the table for first place, but then they fell. They are a very, very intelligent team and we respect them.
“They have very smart players, a lot of very smart players and very sensitive scorers. As I said before, we will respect them but also, we bring the game to win.”
