Fresh details of Trent Alexander-Arnold’s proposed Real Madrid transfer from Liverpool emerge including ‘secret pact’

REAL MADRID are the latest to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold, according to reports in Spain.

The Liverpool defender has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield and his contract expires this summer.

Real Madrid have been his destination for some time and it is claimed that Alexander-Arnold would possibly have already accepted a transfer.

Spanish outlet AS claims the move is almost complete and Real are confident he will sign at the end of the season.

They wanted to secure a deal in January given their injuries, but they accept a summer transfer is the only option.

The report adds that Alexander-Arnold needs to leave Liverpool at the top, midway through a season in which they lead the Premier League.

It has also been reported that Real Madrid have reached a secret pact to keep the move secret once it is completed next month, to antagonize Liverpool.

Reports from Spain have connected Alexander-Arnold with the Bernabeu in recent weeks, perhaps under the influence of Real Madrid.

The La Liga giants used the media to push for the transfers of Aurélien Tchouameni, Kylian Mbappé and Antonio Rudiger, with the latter joining loose transfers.

Howver, reports from Merseyside offer a conflicting view, claiming no such transfer agreement has been reached.

They claim that Alexander-Arnold has not given his word to Real, meaning his future remains up in the air.

Respected transfer guru Fabrizio Romano makes the same claim, suggesting Liverpool could keep ahold of their star man as “nothing has been agreed”.
