Leeds’ long-standing interest in Udinese offensive midfielder Rodrigo De Paul may face an unsatisfactory conclusion.
This comes with Marino, Udinese’s sporting director, who has spoken out to verify that Leeds did not agree with his assessment:
Marino, sports director of Udinese: “From Paul to Leeds? They have not yet reached 35 million euros . . . So I hope you can stay. Okaka doesn’t sign up for Fenerbahca, this is a faux news. There’s no chance⚪️ #LUFC #Fenerbahce #transfers

Marino also spoke with confidence about the Argentine’s long career at Stadio Friuli: ”De Paul is in love with Udine and Udinese, so unless the possibility of his life presents himself and the club receives the right offer for its true value, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him stay.
Leeds have scored seven goals in their first two Premier League games. A thrilling 4-3 loss at Anfield followed the same score in favor of the whites against Fulham.
Marcelo Bielsa hopes, of course, that if De Paul joins, the targets will continue to flow, but the defense may require additional exploration.
With the club in mind, Leeds moved to Diego Llorente de la Real Sociedad.

The Spaniard moved to the Basque Country from Real Madrid. Although highly appreciated at Bernabéu, the path to opportunities consistent with the first team became congested.
And the Company now set out more than three times the investment of about 6 million pounds it paid for the Spaniard in 2017.

The Leeds, of course, had hoped in the past to secure the permanent signature of Brighton’s ceded star, Ben White, but after three offers were rejected, he admitted defeat.
White continued to learn about his “disappointment” about the failed transfer, but signed a new contract with Brighton this month.
