(Reuters) – Fulham has his centre of the front field of the new Premier League season by hiring Harrison Reed and Mario Lemina from Southampton.
Reed, who spent the 2019–20 season on loan at Fulham, had signed a four-year contract with him to make bigger for a year, the club said.
‘It’s going to be an exciting season, it’s a big challenge this year, but I can’t wait to get started. I’m probably very happy to be here,” he said on the club’s website.
The 25-year-old was an integral component of the winning team in Scott Parker’s promotion and played each and every minute of his three championship playoff games.
Lemina arrives with a one-time transfer with option to purchase. Gabon’s foreigner joined Southampton from Juventus in 2017 and was loaned to Turkish club Galatasaray last season.
“I am satisfied to be part of the project. I spoke to the manager and they gave him smart concepts about the team, about everything he needs to do this season,” Lemina said.
Fulham will begin their Premier League crusade at home against Arsenal, the FA Cup champion, on 12 September.
